Extremely uncomfortable, cuts at ankles
Cute, comfortable on try on. Wore for a 1 mile walk on first outing and the top edge was so sharp and stiff it cut through my thin socks and began to wear away my skin in a semi circle around the back of my leg. Note these are not tight or ill fitting, just extremely inflexible and the top edge needs to be rounded or something. Sad because they are otherwise very cute and have great traction. I've never been injured from a boot in this way.
Nice, but not my style
The shoes were very comfortable and wide enough for my feet. However, they were rubbing my ankle and the topline of the shoe cut into the back of my calves when I walked. So maybe for skinny calves only?
Highly recommend
I wear a 9.5 and, using the chart for foot length, purchased 9 (40 Euro), which fits perfectly. Easy on/off and comfortable. I do have a low-volume foot with high arch. No issues with the top rubbing my "bird" ankles. Totally waterproof. I especially like the quiet profile, since rain boots are daily wear in PNW.
