Rated 4 out of 5 by from Get Seirus about your boots. I've been using these for years. My wife and I have expensive custom-fit boots (they really up your level). Have been using Cattrax for years to max their life. They add a remarkable sense of stability and a little nice bit of "cushion" to your stride. Like walking from Vail garage to the gondola, Copper parking lot, Breck gondola to the house, about a mile (that's a lot of wear on hard plastic!), much improved!! They fold up compactly to stash in my camelback or pockets (use a ziplock to store!) It takes a while to get the knack of putting them on. Do it with boots on, cross your leg over the opposite thigh, toe then heel. Take the time, don't be lazy and keep your boots happy and safe. And they'll return the favor.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good to protect boots, prevent slips I've had these for several years and they're very useful for long walks from the parking lot to the lifts. Worth protecting your boot soles and preventing those embarrassing injuries that happen from slipping and falling BEFORE you even get on the slopes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Seirus Cat Tracks are Ski Boot Sole Protection! Inexpensive, VERY GOOD protection for the soles of your expensive ski boots! I recently bought a second pair of Cat Tracks, because the first pair thinned-out a bit when on a very warm stone area in front of a fireplace ("Oops!"). However, the first pair work fine. I strongly recommend ski boot sole protectors, because they protect the soles from wearing-down -- and it is critical that the boot soles remain the same thickness, in order that the boots be held properly in the ski bindings!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No reason not to use No reason not to use these for your ski boots. Makes walking easier and safer - no slipping, and protects your boot soles from getting scraped up on cement. Protect your investment!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Work well Kind of difficult to put on and take off at first, and a bit bulky in my pocket, but they work well, and are as advertised. A good buy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Difficult to install These are great...if you can get them on. REI recommended the size and are so difficult to put on in the cold....we threw them away! Sure, putting them on in the warmth of a cabin or car is fine, but they stiffen up so tight, there's no way to get them on without a shoe horn! I'd never recommend these.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy walking Initially difficult to put on and pull off. They became easier as the rubber stretched. These make walking much easier and the additional traction is welcome on icy walk ways. Great benefit to also protecting the bottom of ski boots so they don't wear down prematurely.

How do I choose the correct size? I wear womens' 24.5 size ski boots if that helps.

Asked by: Erin C2
A women's Mondo 24.5 is a size 7.5 in US sizes. The small will be the best bet.

Men's 26.5 boot, is a size 8. Large 8 and above, or Small 8 and under ????

Asked by: k2fletch
Cat Tracks have a minor amount stretch and we recommend a size small for your 26.5 size boots.
