This chair is great but

This chair is great but when they say Extra Large they mean Extra Large. I’m only 5’ 8” and my feet barely touch the ground. Only Boomers will get this reference but my wife, at 5’ looks a little like Edith Ann (Lillie Tomlin) in her giant chair. However my best friend, at 6’ 3”, loves this chair. He calls dibs whenever we have a cookout. Like all GCI chairs this one is solid, sturdy and built to last. It folds easily and packs away in its provided travel bags. I am very happy with this purchase.

Great chair for Long Legs

We took this chair camping and it was great. My husband is 6’ 5” and has very long legs. He could finally sit comfortably by the fire. The chair size enabled him to get in and out of the chair easily. Very sturdy chair. Only down fall is it is fairly heavy to carry. All in all a definite 8 out of 10!

Easy Chair XL is a great one EXCEPT

This chair is a great chair for the heavier person. It is very sturdy and comfortable. BUT it is Very hard to open and close ! I have tried to lubricate the legs to ease the sliding parts but it didn't really help. I have used it on the beach and It took 2 people to open and close it.

The chair itself was comfortable.

The chair itself was comfortable. However, the bag was a real frustration. Why not make the bag a little bigger? A person has to be a magician to get the chair back into the bag without a whole lot of frustration. Also, a customer should NOT have to buy a bigger bag!!

This is the perfect gift

This is the perfect gift for the big guy in your life. My 6’5” Dad might be purchasing one to go in the living room at this rate. He will be sitting comfortably and getting up with ease at the beach and baseball field this year. I’m very happy with this purchase.

Way too big

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I requested the chair as a warranty replacement to a rocking chair. However, I am 6 ft tall and my feet don’t reach the ground. I had no way of knowing this was such a huge chair. It seems to be an awesome chair, just didn’t expect it to be so tall.

This chair is very well

This chair is very well built. No flimsy bag chair here! But be forewarned, it is really BIG. My 5’11” husband thought it was big for him at first, but likes the high back. I’m 5’4” and my feet don’t touch the ground.

Great chair

But what is the trick for getting it to fold up? It doesn’t want to move and we are at the beach so bringing it home will be a problem. Could someone post a video?

I’m 6’6” 280lbs and I finally found a big chair that is comfortable for me! If there was a rocker version of this chair I would buy it immediately.
