Disappointed but useable

I bought this tent from the REI website. What I received was a used tent that had dirt on the fly and bottom, and it was missing half the stakes, another stake was bent, and was also missing the guy-wires. The tent was sold as an Outlet item but nothing indicated it was used and not complete. This should have been a rummage sale item and not sold as new. I messaged the customer service 2 weeks ago and no response. Highly disappointed in REI. The tent itself was easy to setup and worked well as I got it the day before a multi-week camping and hiking road trip. Haven't used it in the rain yet though.

Awesome light tent

The tent would get a 5 stars from me, the only have one thing that I have negative to say. The tent needs more or better located tie out points. Wind at 11k in Cloud Peak wilderness can be rough, we had no failure during our trip, but more/better tie outs would be good. Pervious use of tent it rained for 24 hours with no leaks.

Very lightweight and quick to assemble.

Only used it once so far, but it is very light weight… It was easy to take out, put up, take down, and pack back up. So easy and nothing frustrating. The quality was great and a surprise rain shower happened during my first use. Looking forward to using this one more. Also, 2 people were able to sleep in the tent, though it was a tight fit.

Great tent!

This is a great tent. Bought it for my daughter and her husband. We just took it out on a trip into the Wyoming Wind River Mountains and the two of them and their large dog used it. Lots of room for the 3 of them. Light weight and easy to set up. Typical Wyoming trip, it withstood significant winds and a good rain storm. The only thing it didn't hold up to was the dog wanting out in the middle of the night and creating her own 'dog door' in the screen mesh. But we won't hold that against Marmot!

Easy to use / Lightweight tent

Recently purchased this tent for some solo backpacking / backcountry camping. Love the weight and the simplicity of the design. Quick to setup. So far, I’ve only used it in ‘good’ conditions so we’ll see how it behaves in wind and rain at some point. For now, very pleased.
