Comfy Lightness

I've used the Tungsten UL 1 for all of my summer backpacking in the Sierra for the past 5 or 6 years. It's light, tight, and easy to set up. It's been a comfy fortress through hail, rain, and wind. It ventilates well, while remaining warm. Headroom is good, with enough floor space to bring my pack inside too.

Not sturdy enough

The tent is lightweight and relatively easy to set up but it is too tall and narrow. You can't use this tent without securing it with guy lines and even then it will likely twist and bend in the wind. The poles do not feel very strong either. I set the tent up when it arrived and knew it would never feel secure. I returned it.

Tungsten UL 1-Person Tent for the win!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Quick to install and is durable. Enough space for a cot and has loops at the top to be able to suspend items appropriately (i.e. lamp or other misc. items). Please with the purchase.
