Solid tent for one. Excellent design with high quality aluminum poles that are strong and noticeably maximize inner walls with the brow pole, high quality materials throughout, nice privacy panels instead of all mesh on inner net, nice touches on tie backs, hanger loops with handy pockets and two doors with nice zippers. Nice Footprint included. Setup is color coded and easy. Typically tight for two campers and a little heavy for backpacking but absolutely perfect for one person+ gear and elbow/head room. Ideal for car camping or a short hike.
Bought this tent right before my husband and I left for our honeymoon. Worked great for the cold Maine weather, but once it started to rain, the rain flu immediately started to leak water in along its seams. We had no choice but to sleep through three nights of medium - hard rain and drips just falling on our faces and running on to our feet and gear. Completely soaked the tent inside and out, meanwhile we still had a week left in our trip. It never fully dried out and even on dry nights, it was still damp. Please fix this issue, this is the BARE MINIMUM of what a tent should do. Other than this the tent is a great budget friendly option, but with a huge hole (literally) Extremely disappointed with the quality here. Usually love REI products but this missed the mark.
