Perfect jacket for light conditions, good function
Great patagonia quality. Comfortable jacket, light in warmth, bulk, wind and water resistance. Like the sleeves narrow at the wrist to keep wind out. Nice deep pockets. Love the stretchyness. Zippers are high quality, easy to zip.
Runs quite small
This jacket runs quite small (large underneath, medium on top in pic). I’m usually a medium, but I ordered a large just to be safe bc of reviews said it runs small. However, even the large is smaller than I anticipated. I wanted to have this layer be roomy enough to wear with a light puffy layer underneath for added warmth in the fall/winter and still fitted enough to not look crazy huge or gaping if worn with only a base layer beneath. However, this jacket is quite tight with a puff underneath :/. The sleeves are tighter at the wrists than most other jackets I have, but in a comfy way. However, this does make it tough to use layers underneath this jacket. Very soft inside, not as soft as anticipated outside, would have liked a bit more length in the torso for better coverage in the weather. Ordering an XL to see if that better meets my hopes-which feels crazy typically being a medium, but we’ll see if that is better for layering. Haven’t worn outside yet so can’t speak to technical specs. Cute colors and nice pockets though!
Patagonia RI cross strata full zip hoodie
Runs a bit small so I ordered it in a medium which fits perfectly. Quality material and construction.Nice water resistant jacket for 40-50 degree weather .
Useful, breathable layer. Runs small
I tried this jacket as a possible option for layering in windy mild weather for hiking and dog walks. I am 5'3" and 145 lb and usually take a medium in patagonia tops. The medium was too snug for my taste with a light wool base layer. I like the fabric, it seemed wind proof and breathable. I liked the sleeves. Appreciated the hand pockets. The top loading chest pocket seemed too deep to be useful.
