Good cool-weather jacket
Wore this jacket for the first time this morning, in early spring weather that started cool and damp with occasional very light drizzle and warmed up later on; it worked well for this. The pockets are large enough for a notebook, the sleeves have elastic that's easy to push up as temperatures warmed up, and the textured fabric made it easy to tie around my waist and stay there for the remainder of my hike when it got too warm to wear it anymore. The only downside is that I was hoping it would be a little longer - it hit about halfway down my butt. It also is a little thicker than I thought it was going to be, so I'm not going to use it on summer evenings like I thought I might, but it will be good for spring and fall. I'm still giving it 5 stars, since I know I'll be wearing it a lot.
