Top strap very tight, digs in
Nice footbed but the top strap is really tight and digs in when taking a step. So bummed. I had been looking at these for a long time and couldn't find them on the Olukai site or anywhere else but here on Tommy Bahama website. I was specifically looking for comfy, stylish slides with genuine sherpa. If only the top strap were SLIGHTLY more loose. I have two pair of the Kipe‘a 'Olu and love them EXCEPT that their straps are slightly too loose! Imay have to give them to my daughter whose foot is larger. She takes a 9 and the 8 fits her perfectly. I take a size 8 normally, have an 8 in two pr but ordered the 7 and they were too short in length but the top strap was perfect. Hopefully, Olukai keeps tweaking their slides until they're perfect!
Not the Best Slides
Bought these as a pair of house slides as I have several pairs of OluKai sandals. Unfortunately, these ones weren’t the best. While I liked how the interior top part that arches over the top of the foot was soft, I found that the bottom of the shoe was slippery (the interior against your foot, the actual sole has great traction). So I kept sliding out of the slide to the front, which was very annoying, plus it kept the sandal from really breaking in for me.
Very comfortable and versatile slide
I own many pairs of Olukai shoes, slippers and flip flops, so you could say I am a fan of the comfort and style. This slide does not disappoint. Some of the other reviews say the band is too tight, but I found it just right.
