Great little bag for a reasonable price

This bag is thoughtfully designed and has some innovative features, like the quick adjustment strap and the ability to use it over the shoulder or as a hip pack. Minus one star for a rather obvious design oversight: the strap should be fully removable with two quick-release buckles instead of one. This would allow you to reverse the strap so that when you’re wearing the bag over your left shoulder and dangling down your right side (the way I prefer), the adjustment buckle would be on your chest and easily accessible. As it is, when you wear the bag that way, the adjustment buckle is on your back, and you have to pull the strap around to reach it like the guy does in the video. Other than that, great product.

Love the size and the strap

I don't have enough hobbies in retirement, this is my 6th sling edc bag. Should be my last. My biggest complaint with the other five is too short straps. I'm 6'1" and big. This bag rides on my hip (across opposite shoulder). The layout and color looks as "manly" as these get. My two leather sling bags have few interior pockets. This has a great set well designed. Mystery ranch is a high quality maker. My son uses his old 17 daypack as his engineering briefcase. I use mine as air travel carry on. Great company great products.

First bag that hangs right

All I can say is that if you've watched the videos and looked at the pictures and think this bag may be right for you, don't hesitate, just get it! It is pretty much as advertised, the quality seems to be great, and it is the first bag I've had that actually hangs right! I can walk into the gym with my towel and my water bottle hanging off this bag, leaving both hands free, and it's comfortable, and it works! I don't even need to take it off when I get in the car (except for the water bottle). I am very happy with this bag.

Love it

Thoughtfully designed. The pocket for the phone is great. There are no fasteners or metal to damage the phone. I use the front small pocket for my keys,- perfect. If I was going to make a design change , I would change the strap material. All my winter coats are somewhat slick , so when wearing cross body - no issues but if I am doing a quick on the shoulder errand - it slides. I actually ordered another one for a gift. I loved it so much. Thanks- job well done.

Great quality and organization

I have been using this bag as my EDC for 3 months now. The quality of the bag is phenomenal, zippers, velcro, stitching and material. The organizational pockets make finding items a breeze. While this is the smallest District bag, it holds my most necessary items with room to spare. When needed, the bag fits comfortably in the center console of the vehicle keeping it out of view of people who might want to smash and grab. I am very happy with this purchase.

Great Compact Bag

I bought this bag primarily to carry a couple of extra lenses and filters for my camera. It worked perfectly for that and I could not be happier. I also used it while traveling to put my earbuds, cough drops, pens, etc. in it, so I could store my carry on bag in the overhead storage of the plane/train, and still have easy access to everything I needed without taking up all of my leg room. I am definitely happy with this bag and it will go on every trip I take.

Small but big enough to hold the essentials.

I had previously owned a small Osprey crossbody bag as I love Osprey's products. However, I found that bag to be to small as it wouldn't expand. Then I saw the Mystery Ranch District 2 in my research. It looked like it would meet my needs. Since having it, I absolutely love the bag. It fits all the necessary items I need for a quick day out and about. Highly recommend.

District 2 in Spain - rocked it!

I needed a light carry bag for a trip to Spain. Something that would work under my coat for passports, cash, and phone. This was an excellent option for that. Like with all MR gear, it was overbuilt, came in the mail quickly, and worked with zero issues; the product videos on the site where a tremendous help to get the right size.

Great build quality and even more practical

I hummed and hawed about whether to get the District 2 or District 4. For an EDC bag, I went with the 2 and it is perfect. For what I need daily, the 4 would have been too big. My one gripe is that, as a lefty, I sling it over the wrong shoulder and there is no way to reverse the strap and buckles. I'll make due

Great Merse

I have been looking for the right "purse" (for lack of a better term) for a long time. I wanted something that was compact, have room for a wallet, cellphone, small notebook, pen, slim folding knife and keys. It had to be of rugged material. All my wishes were met. I am very pleased with this bag.
