Great all around travel bag

This is a great waterproof bag that I use for travel and everyday use. Able to fit my dji flip drone, waterproof jacket, passport, cash, airpods, and everyday gear. Looks great and have gotten lots of compliments. I recommend purchasing the metal buckles at the chrome website as well as the inner organizing compartments. I used it during beach tours and water activities. This bag kept everything inside dry. Highly recommend it.

Great sling. Tough zippers.

Outstanding quality and is really nice for a change of pace from a backpack. Enough space to carry my small laptop and a few other items in the main pouch. The zippers are really nice, but they are extremely tight so don’t be afraid to pull hard. My recommendation is to put some small hiking clamps on the loops on each side of the sling. It makes using the zippers much easier.

Tiny tank

My partner just bought me the waterproof Kadet Sling in Black and it is everything I could want in a super-wallet size bag. I’m a bigger guy and there is plenty of adjustability, max space for essentials plus a couple books, and the quality is supreme, as is always the case with Chrome. Only thing changed was I immediately ordered a black metal buckle, cuz... well, I can’t live my life with a plastic buckle knowing there’s a metal buckle out there. All in all, it will be my bike-around and carry-on probably until I’m dead.

Love it!

I’m in the ever-rainy PNW and it’s tough to find something truly waterproof. I was a bit hesitant to buy this since I saw comments lamenting the bag’s reluctant zippers and overall stiffness, but neither of those have been an issue for me. And, better still, it fits my iPad Pro 11” with Magic Keyboard in my padded TomToc sleeve, which I didn’t expect. It’s also especially nice with the black seatbelt buckle and feels incredibly well built. I’ve been delighted with my other waterproof gear from Chrome and while I haven’t tested this in the rain yet, everything I’ve experienced so far feels confidence inspiring.

Great Bag / Great Company

I can tell you from my experience with this bag, it’s great! Strong, durable, intelligently placed pockets, etc. I’ve tried tons of bags over the years - always searching for the ’Holy Grail.’ Maybe you can relate! Well, call me Indiana Jones, ‘cause I uncovered it. I love this bag! I bought this bag and had a small zipper issue. I contacted CI and they immediately offered to send me a new one. How a business responds to a customer ‘issue’ oftentimes create a deeper relationship then if the issue had not existed at all. These guys responded great and I’m all in! Unfortunately, when the replacement bag arrived, my apartment building misplaced the package, and I never received it. I hope, if things go my way, I get hired on Thursday, (and a bit of luck😎) I will be able to start saving towards another bag. I have faith I’ll get my hands on another one day- but until I do, I’ll still sing their praises. Until it’s mine again, I will not use another bag! THANKS CHROME! Marc SnyderP. S. If you are reading this review, and are fortunate enough to buy this bag, first thing: BUY IT! And, if it’s not too much to ask, when you are using it, pls send up a silent prayer that it won’t be forever until I have one back in my hands too.

Light, sleek, will protect my cameras.

At first I was skeptical of the weight and thickness of the bag. Upgraded the fastener to the black metal buckle. Use this actively when snapping photo's, so I appreciate that this is incognito. I have been outside in some light to moderate rain, and all of my gear was dry inside. Living in the PNW the weather resistance was the reason for the purchase. Zippers are stiff, but Chrome includes some oil which resolves that. I would recommend this bag.

Practical, good looking, and good capacity for EDC and travel

I initially got this for traveling and a traveling companion EDC bag. Given the water-proof feature nice to be able to protect travel and videography kit in bad weather. Always carry videography kit when traveling to capture content for a small and growing YouTube channel. Turns out like it so much it has turned into a home daily EDC bag. Looking at the same model, non WP, as a more professional EDC in canvas.

horrible feeling material

I wanted to compare this Kadet to the other “non water proof” Kadet. First this lacks the classic Chrome seatbelt connector. Some may see that as a plus, but I like it for its interest factor. But more than that the material felt thin and plasticky. It was horrible. I bought the other Kadet and it feels great…tougher. I returned this one.

well built but defective zipper

I really like the standard Kadet so i got a waterproof Kadet The main zipper was defective and would open up again behind the slider The construction on these is actually pretty high quality however a bad zipper ruins any bag no matter how well built
