Where are the two missing grommets? Please tell me

Where are the two missing grommets for the right shoe? Opened the box today so excited because I have the hiking shoes by Merrill which I loved in the exact same color…. I get these and there’s no grommets on the right upper shoelace eyelet bummer . Gosh for $96. I’m going to have to return ithe shoes, when in fact, they feel pretty good right now. I don’t have an REI near me, This is pretty minor as compared to world affairs, though a lot of money to and an inconvenience for me. How will I know this will not happen again if I reorder?

Poorly made shoe

These shoes are attractive and comfortable, but poorly made. They look extremely beat up after only a few hikes. The sole and fabric started to wear away, I doubt these shoes would last me 1 year. Disappointed because they feel and look great! Unfortunately I cannot return them because I got them resupply in-store.
