I bought these shoes for both my kids in the womens size since i couldnt find appropriate hiking shoes in the kids section. These shoes are amazing! light and breathable, they were perfect for our safari adventure in east africa!
I have bought this same shoe for years. Best shoes for working in a kitchen, them go hiking. Worth every penny
We’re thrilled that you were satisfied with our footwear.
A dedicated and long time Merrells fan , I did not hesitate to order these shoes in my size. Now dealing with a repeat round of plantar fasciitis , and relying on my one pair of Merrells every day, I was keen to don the new pair for a change. Alas, it didn't take long for me to realize that not every Merrell is the same as the other. This shoe is bulky, very wide, and even difficult to lace. Unfortunately I had worn them to the clothesline prior to deciding that they just aren't satisfactory, so I'm stuck . Lesson learned.
I liked these so much, I ordered a second pair within a week (because it's very hard for me to find a good fit and I wanted a backup pair). This pair smells VERY BADLY of formaldehyde. I even let them air outside in fresh air for more than 24 hours. Now, I have to pay for return shipping or take a long, inconvenient trip to the closest REI.
I've worn the Accentor for over 5 years. It's the single best hiking shoe I've found! The way it grips all types of terrains is unmatched. The sticky rubber sole grips everything, including wet surfaces, ensuring no slips! That's something the Vibram soles can't do! My feet are always dry thanks to the waterproof version, comfortable, and I know I can trust these shoes everywhere I go, whatever I do, whether I'm out in the woods, running errands, or chasing after my kids. These never let me down.
I am a huge Merrell fan and own approximately 30 to 35 pairs of Merrell hiking shoes and water shoes. I received my new pair of Accentor 3 hiking shoes today and I am very sad to say I am extremely disappointed. First off, the package and shoe box arrived extremely mangled, luckily the shoes do not appear to be damaged. However, the shoes do not look like the picture on the website, they are grey with dark grey accents and NOT the grey and blue color that is shown on the website (in which I have gone back to the website on my laptop, Iphone and IPad and all devices show a grey and blue shoe). Furthermore, the shoes do not appear to have been made with the same quality Merrell is previously known for and the design of the shoe itself is rather big , chunky, and not attractive when on at all.

I quit wearing orthotics in my shoes from 2018 to this date in 2023, and of course it changed the shape of my feet and how my hips and lower back move with walking. I have started walking regularly for exercise, and these shoes have solved my foot, hip, and lower back mild displacements. Initially I had more discomfort in my hip and lower back, but this is resolved now after a month. These shoes did not require any breaking in time, and they don't pinch or rub anywhere. Best purchase ever!
We love happy feet!
I bought these on vacation when the sole separated on my very much worn out Moabs. A few people have mentioned these seem wider, but they were a good fit for me. These were comfortable right out of the box, and I had no complaints even after a few days of hiking. The styling is low-key, the colors are neutral enough to go with anything. I do feel they are not as supportive as the Moab, but they are a great light hiking shoe.
The shoe is what I ordered (size 6.5), but it's fit is quite a bit roomy, with a tad bit more toe space than expected. When going down hill, my foot slides forward. I have pulled the laces tight, used the extra lace hole, and wore thicker socks. Next I will try a shoe insert.
I selected these to replace an older pair of a different style (no longer available) They are true Merrell comfort, but I find them a bit clunky and heavy. The fit is generous and I do like the colour. Just would have preferred a bit less weight like the previous pair.
