I am new at wearing proper footwear on my walks, so these were my first attempt to find something stable/cute/comfortable. They mostly fit the bill, but give some foot pain for sure. That could be my foot's own issue. They're maybe a bit stiffer than I need. Pretty comfy out of the box and definitely have gotten compliments.
These sneakers are very comfortable! They’re casual enough to wear daily, but also great for moderate hikes. They’ve held up great so far, are easy to clean and breathable. I’d like to see more colors offered in the future.
I tried on a number of hiking shoes and boots and was getting discouraged when I found these. I need a wide toe box for my feet and these were perfect, better than the Keens I tried. It feels to me like these run long, but I’m fine with that. My toes are happy! They have solid soles with excellent treads, and medium cushioning. Also seem like they will breathe pretty well in the summer heat.
I bought these for a trip to Yellowstone. Tried them on for maybe 3 minutes after I got them and put them in the suitcase. The first time I wore them I hiked for 7 miles. The second time I wore them I hiked for 8 miles. These never hurt my feet, not even once. These have excellent grip and I felt super confident in my steps. I am typically a size 9 with a regular width foot and the 9 fit perfectly. I’d highly recommend these.
On my second pair and they are by far the most comfortable shoes I’ve worn
Amazing! I bought these for a hiking trip to Banff/Glacier National Park where I hiked 60 miles in 7 days without even breaking the shoes in and I had no blisters. My husband bought expensive hiking shoes and my Merrells did just as great at half the cost. I still can’t believe how comfortable they were. For me, they were perfect!
Great trail walking shoe/sneaker. Firmer tread than a typical sneaker. Good support but still I use orthotic insoles as I have plantar fasciitis and use orthotics in everything. I take a size 8 or 8.5, and for the Speed strike 2 the 8 fits really well.
These are the most comfortable shoes-I didn't even have to break them in. Perfect for high arches, great grip, and lightweight. Even perform well in the rain (I thought my feet would get more wet when hiking in the rain, but not really!)
Every pair of Merrell's I have owned have always been great. I have a pair of boots, hiking sandals and now these tennis shoes. They all fit my feet so well. I have a thin foot and its nice to have something fit well.
I got these shoes for hiking in Yellowstone National Park. My feet easily get sore when hiking on uneven surfaces. I had no pain or any issues wearing these for about a week straight.
