[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had a Columbia Interchange jacket for years. The only reason I’m replacing it is that the waterproofing is gone and I’ve used waterproofing spray now twice to keep it going. One of the nicest things about the jacket is the fleece liner. It has cuffed wrists and does not slide out of the sleeves when used with the shell. This keeps the liner dry and out of the way when donning the jacket. It also is heavier material and feels more substantial than the new liner in the jacket I received. Unfortunately, the Bugaboo jacket does not have cuffed sleeves, rather they are uncuffed, which allows them to slide ride out every time you put on the jacket. The material feels lighter and I don’t have the same confidence that it will keep me warm.
Love this jacket. Works on slopes and off. Quality construction, nice fleece lining, removable hood, shell is water tight, warm for frigid days but not too warm for spring skiing, nice large zippered exterior hand pockets, and nice large interior open pockets which are good to store gloves or goggles. Couple of small design issues. First, upper pocket is small and shallow and barely fits my cell phone sideways only. It is difficult to access because of flap with velcro that covers zipper. I put tape over velcro to make it more accessible. Second, sleeves of fleece liner push beyond cuffs when put jacket on. Added velco on cuffs of lining and shell to resolve.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to love this jacket. Unfortunately it's not as warm as the previous version, the Bugaboo II, which I loved. The big problem is that the zipper gets stuck in the adjacent fabric. This has happened several times, suddenly at the worst moment. I had to remove the outer shell over my head and go back home to juggle the zipper free. This zipper problem should never happen, and it's not worth the zipper getting stuck even one time to own this jacket. Avoid it and save yourself a major hassle.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This jacket is great. I can tell these products are well made and stand up to the temperatures. This is actually the third Columbia jacket I’ve bought for my son, as he keeps growing. I’ve tried other brands in the past and they never last an entire season without ripping or the zipper breaking. I’m very pleased with the quality of this product.
Just received and tried on. While jacket appears to certainly be warm enough, the lack of a double zipper is a no go. Love the length but can't sit down without hiking the jacket up or else it puts too much strain on lower end of zipper. Also, for all of the outside pockets, there is not even one inside pocket for a wallet or phone. Both are dealbreakers for me.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this jacket for a trip to yellowstone in june but have needed to wear it recently due to the cold spring weather. So far i love it, very comfortable and light weight which is what i was looking for. I think with a good fleece base layer it could be worn in under 35 degree weather but I think its more suited for 40 degrees and higher.
I was replacing and older medium size Bugaboo jacket. This new one also a medium, is not nearly as roomy in the armpits, and throughout is much smaller than my original one. The fleece in the older one had a polyester lining in the sleeves, which was much better than just fleece, as the new one has. I Am disappointed with the new one.
