[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This jacket is WARM. Definitely gets limited use in our mild PNW winters, but we've had mid-teen temps with single-digit windchill this week and this jacket has kept me very comfortable. I'm 6'3", ~190 lbs -- I originally ordered a Large Tall, but found it to be huge so swapped for a Medium and it's perfect. My only gripe is that the gold sleeve lining tends to hitch a ride on whatever layer is beneath it and peeks out when putting the jacket on or trying to get at your watch. Not a huge deal, but could be mitigated by a row of stitching an inch or two up the sleeve. Furthermore, the gold lining feels remarkably thin and I wonder about its longevity... to be determined! Even so, it's a great jacket, and I can now face the brief bitter temps we get a little more readily :) Thanks!
Zipper and warmth. For such an expensive coat, I truly expected a better zipper. The design of the main zipper (which is cheap plastic) catches The fabric every other time that I zip this thing up or down. While the reflective layer does reflect body heat, the insulation is substandard for temperatures under 10 degrees, and the jacket gets cold. Breath ability is almost non existent, and one does have a tendency to sweat in this thing, which can be deadly in cold climates.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently bought this for the Minnesota cold. It is larger than average by one size. I normally wear Medium and I had to order to the small which is an excellent fit. I'm 5'9, 180s. I'm not a fan of the cinched cuffs and the puffy appearance, and it would be much better if it had a shell like the parka version. It's the warmest jacket I own and the others I own are jackets made with various warm materials such as goose down, primaloft and thermore. It's definitely worth buying!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This jacket is ridiculously sized huge. I should have listened to reviews that this ran big but that is an understatement! My husband is 5'7 wears S to M tops depending on brand. 31 waist. Columbia says they run true to size. Well the M could have been an Xtra large!! Beyond huge and I doubt the small will be much better considering how over-sized this coat runs. Maybe it's just this style but sizing is grossly off. Too bad looks like a well made and warm coat.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Haven't worn in real cold temps yet but seems it should do a good job. Has plenty of pockets, although I'd like an inside chest pocket, but not a big deal. I like you can remove the hood as i don't always want one in more moderate conditions. I wear a medium size and the sleeves are slightly long but otherwise a good fit. Overall, this coat is what i was looking for and anticipate it doing a good job in colder temps and i would recommend.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I normally wear and XL sometimes XXL. I saw this jacket in the store on sale and I liked it but it was only in a Large. I tried it on and it fit to my surprise. I was VERY shocked and VERY excited. Definitely thought the Large would be too small. But nope!!! So everyone ordering online without trying it on please size down. It's a great jacket. I got the tan colorway and it looks great.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This jacket looks nice and seems to be well made. The only negative is that it fits big. I ordered this in my typical size and it fits pretty loose and the sleeves are a little long. I would be curious to see how the next size down fits. Other than that, it does seem like a really warm puffer. The tech is good with the omni heat and the material seems durable.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This puffer is really warm and perfect for super cold weather. I don't recommend wearing without some sort of a sleeved shirt under it as the Omni heat liner can get sticky pretty quick. But I'm not mad at the jacket for that.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Size not that accurate. I used the size guide and showed me that i need a XL. Im 5,10 and use size L and 34 waist and 205 wight. I bought size L but feel like an XL and sleeves are long. However, it warms real nice.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the coat, can’t wait for the weekend when it’s supposed to be in the negative digits the only thing I find bothersome is that I wish the cuff’s were a little tighter and not so loose
