Jacket arrived today. Literally the first time I wore it the draw strings on the hood broke the first time I adjusted the hood (see the picture I've included below). From what I can tell the draw string on my jacket seems to have some kind of defect as the drawstring was split in two and those two parts were held together by some white fabric that was wrapped around the two pieces to hold them together. I've never seen something so poorly made from a major brand like Columbia and I expected better.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The jacket is slim fitting for the sizing. I checked its water repellency under the sink and everything just beaded off as it should. The interior lining helps keep me warm during the last few 20 degree nights I've used it. I wasn't sure if I should go for the medium or large do to other reviews but my girlfriend advised me to go with the large because of layering when I snowboard. When the jacket came in, it fit perfectly and I was quite happy. I normally wear a medium but do to my disproportionately long arms and I often have to get a Large. I am 6ft 2in and 175lbs with a slim build. I hope the measurements help anyone else interested in the jacket. Would recommend
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works great for hikes and daily cold wear. I like the vents on side of jacket if you get too warm. It does fit slightly small, so I would size up one size from what your use to. It’s a warm jacket! If you layer it with a hoodie or thermal, could be worn in multiple environments and temperatures. The zipper and pockets are great. Lots of storage for items. I had it unzipped and open and in 50F degree weather, and layered up and hood on for 15F degrees. Very versatile and the material is great. It definitely is water proof. Had a rain storm pour on me while hiking and I stayed completely dry.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I couldn’t be happier with this ski jacket. It's incredibly stylish and the attention to detail in the design really stands out. The seaming is expertly done, giving it a sleek and tailored appearance while also enhancing waterproofing durability. Beyond just aesthetics, this jacket offers fantastic performance on the slopes. The fit is perfect—snug in all the right places without feeling restrictive. It allows for complete freedom of movement, which is essential for skiing and other winter activities. Overall, this jacket is a perfect blend of fashion and function. If you're looking for something that performs as well as it looks, this is it! Highly recommend. For reference: 200lb, 6'1", bought size XL

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So, I got this in addition to a larger, parka that i purchased the month before. I am in that weird sizing between medium and large. (5'8" 175 lbs, 42" chest). The previous parka I purchased is a large per the sizing chart and the AI wizard. It is comfortable and allows extra layers, but it seems too loose for active wear. Enter this Cirque Bowl jacket, which matches my Cirque Bowl pants. I got a medium in this jacket. It fits snug, so I can't really layer under it, but for active wear while skiing, this will do the trick. It is warm enough, has venting for when you are active, and sheds water and moisture like it is nothing. I am going to keep the heavier, larger parka for low-intensity stuff, and use the Cirque Bowl for my real adventures!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I looked all over the Internet for the perfect ski coat. For me, this one is it. I love how it looks and how it feels. Super warm and comfortable. I love the materials inside and out. I can’t say enough great things about this coat. I will say that it runs slightly large everywhere except the armpits. I got it online at the end of year sale for an amazing deal. Five stars highly recommend! I’m 5’9” 145lbs (size small)
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a solid ski jacket that wouldn’t break the bank and got this before a trip. Ended up skiing in snow, wild winds, sleet, and freezing rain and this jacket stood up. Was not too bulky, but warm enough, convenient pockets for lift card, ventilation, phone, and gloves. Most important, after a few hours in freezing rain there was a solid layer of ice all over me, but never got wet or cold.
I bought this product with a 40% discount and it completely warms your body when you wear it. The arm and wrist parts and the part that wraps around your second arm protect you from the cold. I can say that it is one of the most comfortable jackets I have ever worn.
