[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shoes unfortunately do not fit me well and are too tight. I am a true 9 and they fit too small. I own a few pairs of brooks and the other styles fit me perfect so I think it could possibly be this specific style. They do have an amazing amount of cushion when I step. The tread is PERFECT for trail walking and some light jogging. The style and design is cute I love the bright pink soles. The fabric feels light and airy. I wish I could use them but the fit is too small for me. What I like most about this shoe would be the color I like the navy blue so they won’t show as much dirt and can pair with any outfit. If I could change one thing it would be to make them a little roomier.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first impression when opening the box was I loved the color combination and they looked hearty so I was worried about the weight of them. To my surprise, they are SO lightweight while still being supportive. Lately I've been wearing them when walking, running, lifting in our garage and keeping up with the kids. I'm surprised at how durable they are despite being super light. My feet are recovering from cracked heels from living in sandals, so this has been extremely healing for them to wear these sneakers instead. Also, my kids are into a lot of water play right now and the sneakers are super breathable giving them the ability to get wet, but dry-out quickly.... a totally bonus for my lifestyle!
Great trail shoe! I bought these to replace my old Divide 5s which had Gore-tex water proofing. My new Divides do not have Gore-tex (which was my fault for not paying attention) and I really miss it! This shoe feels springy and light, fits nicely with my foot shape, and gives me that forward assist that I prefer with running/walking shoes. I use these for trail hiking and walking in adverse Michigan weather. I will really miss the Gore-tex in the spring! However, I am keeping the shoes because I like the fit, colorway, and performance in drier conditions. Also, no break in period needed (which I can't say for the Gore-tex version!).
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These have to be one of my favorite athletic shoes to date! They fit just perfect, not too snug not too loose. They are truly perfect for all kinds of training, although I use these primarily for all terrain training, I would just as easily take these to the gym. They have a nice thick sole but are light, they don’t feel heavy or chunky at all. They feel nice and have a grippy bottoms without feeling unstable. I would definitely recommend these for all kinds of activities, from going to the park with kids, to running terrain, to hiking an easy trail!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Depending on your needs, this is a good pair of shoes. They are incredibly light and have a lot of bounce, which is what I want when I go running or chasing my kids through the neighborhood. These shoes are very comfortable, but for the shape of my foot, they don’t have enough arch support, although that’s pretty standard whenever I go shoe shopping. In terms of looks, these are perfect for running errands, but they’re a little boxy for going out with friends. Overall, I’d recommend these shoes for your standard exercise routine.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Divide 5 is perfect for trail running or even casual hiking. I do some off road running and they provided much better traction for my run. I am running cautiously after a torn meniscus so they help with the stability needed on uneven ground. I will be using for short hikes this summer too, because they are comfortable and good for short excursions. They are a bit overkill for the gym or sidewalks/road running. I'd prefer something with less grip, but perfect for gravel, rocks, uneven dirt, etc.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband has been a Brooks running shoe user for a while, though this has been my first pair to see if I'll like them as much as he does. So far, I really do. As I put them on the first time and moved around, I could feel a firm support in all the right areas, to take pressure off my feet. I have been testing them out running along the paved road and nature trails around our neighborhood. I was surprised at how breathable they feel, even in the humidity. They wick the moisture away particularly well. With the cushioned support, my feet definitely feel less fatigued from hitting the trail after I'm done, and I am encouraged to push a bit farther for an enhanced workout. I've had a very positive experience, and hope these will last a long while. Plus, they just look great on me!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoy these shoes! This is my first pair of trail runners and I appreciate that they have all the support and reinforcement I was looking for while still being responsive and breathable. Some trail shoes that I tried felt more like cleats than joggers, and I wanted a shoe that could flex into whatever I happened to be doing that day. These were the perfect middle ground. I even wore them to a HIIT class and they felt pretty good, and definitely gave me some extra traction for sled pushes.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just got the Divide 5 sneakers and they are great! The cushioning, especially in the heel makes me feel like I’m walking on air. So far, I’ve only had the chance to use them indoors during regular daily life, running after littles, but I am excited to try them out soon on some walking trails. The fabric is a little tight but breathable, definitely important in the hot summer days. They are a little bulky as far as sneakers go but overall, solid, comfortable, and pretty too!
WOW I am impressed with this bad boy. I just ran ManHump and these shoes kept my feet comfortable for 13 hours. ALSO -- I didn't have to relace them ONCE. The laces stayed -- no slipping! I was running up and down single track mountain trails with plenty of roots, rocks, and rockface, and folks these shoes let me run DOWN the rockface without fearing I would fall on MY face. I wear a size 11 and have weird narrow, bony feet that often slip around in trail shoes, but NOT THESE! Plenty of space in the toe box for stability, but narrow enough in the mid foot and heel that my feet stay in place. After many mountain miles, I have ZERO blisters and the shoes have ZERO holes. Love it.
