[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Brooks Divide 5 GTX shoes are amazing! They feel great right out of the box, though like any shoe, you need to break them in a bit. The cushioning is soft but still supportive. The fit is snug around the midfoot and roomy in the toe box, so no discomfort or blisters even on long runs. They look sleek and rugged, with a breathable mesh upper that keeps my feet comfy. The materials feel durable yet lightweight, perfect for different terrains. The traction is awesome, gripping well on both wet and dry surfaces, giving me confidence on uneven trails. If I could change anything, I'd make them a bit wider. Overall, they're comfortable, durable, and perform really well on different terrains.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are my new go to trail runners - for short runs (3-5miles). I really enjoy the cushioning and traction especially for steep downhills. I can keep a solid pace and never had an issue with slipping or losing grip which we all know is a huge advantage if you spend time on a gravel or more technical trail. The cushion and toe cap is also solid and served me very well. My runs have been in fairly warm weather and despite the great structure my feet were sweaty but happy. The only thing to notice is that the toebox runs a touch tight for my liking especially for trails. I wish there would be touch more wiggle room so if you purchase, please size up half a size. It's a good looking shoe, easy to clean and definitely a great workhorse!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m a big fan of Brooks running shoes and was excited to try these out. I have the black on black style and while they aren’t the cutest, they are functional and go with almost everything. This style runs narrow, which I wasn’t expecting as I typically don’t have an issue with the width of Brooks shoes. It took several days of wearing to loosen them up a bit and I recommend switching out the laces for longer laces. Otherwise, they feel good running and are great quality. I will continue to use these in rotation for running and casually around town.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been very impressed with the Brooks Divide GTX sneakers. They are true to size; not too narrow or wide. I have experienced increased stability not only while jogging/walking, but on my every day errands. I have plantar fasciitis, and these shoes have been so helpful! I like to jog on a path in my woods, and there's a lot of uneven terrain. These shoes are absolutely perfect for it. I feel grounded and very stable walking over the tree roots and rocks. I've always been a fan of Brooks, and these shoes are perfect!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shoes are my new go-to, I am obsessed. From opening them and trying them on, I was amazed at how comfortable they were. No breaking in needed. They provide a good amount of cushion for my aging knees but also strong support so I’m not rolling any ankles! I used them for trail hikes and jogs and loved the support it provided. Huge added bonus they are waterproof with Gor-Tex! Can’t wait to take them camping and for all the hiking we do! I also used them in the gym every morning and loved them for that as well. From weight lifting to rowing to biking, these shoes have really become my all around favorite. Another simple detail that I really loved was the shoe laces have a little grip (maybe some rubber?) that prevent them from untying throughout all my different work outs. I don’t know why but this was a game changer for me! I can’t say it enough, but I love these shoes.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shoes are a great blend of durability and breathability. We have horse trails and hiking trails winding through our town, and Brooks Divide 5 GTX are just as comfortable when traversing paved roads as they are on the trails. I have worn these shoes all day, and I’ve noticed long lasting comfort, stability, and cushion. They have ample padding and support, making them a versatile choice for short or long distances, across a wide variety of terrain. The soles provide sufficient grip and traction for the trails I visit. I found these shoes to run true to size. I’m a 9 or 9.5 in non-athletic shoes, and I always size up to 10 or 10.5 in running shoes. I have a narrow heel and sometimes have issues finding athletic shoes that fit properly. I got the 10 in these and they fit perfectly. The one thing I would change is to make the design a bit more sleek. I adore the comfort and practicality of these shoes, but they do look and feel a bit more bulky than other athletic shoes.
Love these Divide 5 GTX for walking/running during wet months as they are completely waterproof, though they fit similar to my favorite Brooks running/walking shoe the Adreneline GTS 22, they do not have as much cushion which is why I gave 4 stars.
When it comes to blending reliable performance, exceptional comfort, and sharp looks, Brooks is a consistent leader
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got my hands (or rather, feet) on the Brooks Divide 5 GTX Shoes, and they have been a nice addition to my collection. First off, the fit of these shoes is comfortable and accommodating. They offer a snug feel without being too tight, with ample space in the toe box. The cushion is pretty soft and provides a good balance. The all-black design of the Brooks Divide 5 GTX Shoes is sleek and understated, which I found appealing. I can wear it anywhere I want without the fear of messing them up. I’ve received numerous compliments on them, which is always a nice bonus. The fabric was a bit harsh a first, I hope they will loosen up once I wear them regularly. Though, very breathable and stay dry during wet conditions. What stands out most about these shoes is their versatility. They perform well on various terrains, providing reliable traction and stability. The outsole grips effectively, which is particularly reassuring on slippery or uneven surfaces. One thing I would love to change is the weight of the shoes to make them much more comfortable and enjoyable on every run. Overall, I’ve enjoyed using them and would recommend them to others looking for a dependable trail running shoe.
My first pair of brooks and I’m in love.
