Too long on me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This jacket would be great for someone really tall or someone who wants to cover their bum. I am neither so I returned it. (I'm 5'2" 115 lbs with a really long torso and tried size XS.)

beautiful green color, NO chest pocket

I have an older version of this coat and it had an exterior chest pocket which is the BEST when out in cold weather or using as a layer skiing. This version doesn’t have a chest pocket at all which makes it not functional enough to justify the price. The green color with black trim looks great, but summit series pieces should have details that make them work better for active pursuits.

Versatile yet stinky

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really pleased with this initially as it is really comfortable, flattering, lightweight, and great for mobility. I'm wearing it mainly as an alpine ski midlayer under a shell. the bummer is that after wearing this only a couple of times for a few hours each for resort skiing, it is super stinky! Much worse than other insulated jackets I have. I guess I'll have to wash it frequently, which doesn't seem like it'll be great for it in the long run. The price is high for what it is too, I think.

Highly recommended!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Light, soft, and sufficiently warm. First wore it with a mid-weight base layer underneath in high 20/low 30 -degree weather in Utah. I'm from CA where we're not exactly used to freezing temperatures all the time and it kept me very warm. The jacket fits perfectly- has a great cut, but still roomy and flexible. The zipper length is just right, coming up to right at the bottom of my chin. My only very minor complaint is that with my Smith ski and mountaineering helmets on, the hood just barely fits tightly over the helmet. It does fit well over my BD rock climbing helmets, though, which I plan on using this jacket more for on chilly days at the crag anyway. The red is also a beautiful color to wear during outdoor activities for high vis, and also looks and feels great as casual wear around town. I've received a lot of compliments for it!

Perfect hiking/running jacket.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This jacket is very well made and a great weight for fall weather. It is a standard fit and runs true to size. The sizing is perfect if you like it more fitted and will only be wearing it over lighter layers. I would like to be able to wear it over hoodies so I decided to go one size larger. The fabric washes and wears well.

Cute and comfortable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super cute and comfortable. I bought this thinking I'd need an extra layer at mammoth, but it's pretty warm now so didn't get to use it on the slopes. Was great in evenings and is super comfortable. Looking forward to trying it under my shell come winter season when it's colder.

Perfect mid layer

Fits great and a perfect mid weight for running around town, morning hikes, camping or spring skiing. The material is a little fragile and mine is already running in some places just from a few branches but nothing structural.

Yes , I recommend this product

Light, we'll made and washes well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this jacket! It's both light enough for a Spribg or Fall day and warm enough to act as a solid layer in the colder winter months. I've washed this twice it's held up beautifully as well. Highly recommend!
