Usually fit in S comfortably but wanted something more loose for me for snowboarding. Got this in M so I can fit my baselayer and midlayer for extra cold days without restricting movement. Confident to go only in baselayer with this as the heat seeker tech holds in the warmth nicely without the extra bulk. Wore this in -10C weather in Whistler, BC no problem - had to open up the ventilation cause I decided to do base and midlayers but feel like I could do the baselayer only comfortably if I wanted. I'm 5'1" and 120 lbs, if you like regular/relaxed-ish fit, go with a S. If you like relaxed/loose-ish fit with lots of room for layering, M is perfect.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought two of these jackets. One for my boyfriend and one for myself. Both jackets have issues with the zippers. The zippers constantly get caught in the jackets. Also the sizing is a little strange. The size medium fit well except in the chest area/arms, it felt a little constricting. I ordered a size larger in both jackets and it was way too large. I settled on the medium and to just wear a light layer underneath, and he settled on the size large. The zipper thing irks me the most knowing it's a recurrent issue with these jackets. For the price it should be perfect.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my Dawnstrike GORE-TEX Insulates Jacket. It's not very thick, but it is very warm. I also love the color (almond butter) and the depth of the pockets.
Although I love this jacket, the outer fabric tore after the first day I used it. There are a ton of tiny nicks on the front of the jacket and I can see that they will spread. I reached out to customer service to ask about the limited lifetime warranty, but they said this type of damage isn't "the direct result of defective craftsmanship" so it isn't covered. It's a nice jacket, but not worth the price tag.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the jacket, very lightweight. Bought at end of season so not sure how warm/cold it will feel like during snow sports. I notice the fabric gets stuck in the zipper at times which may be an issue long-term. Fabric is a bit stiff also. Bought it because I had my previous NorthFace ski jacket for 13 YEARS so I trust the brand. Wish they had more fun colors ( only had black and a tan color offered).
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this jacket, I've been wearing it for a couple months now. I'm in between sizes xs & small on the size chart and got an xs. It fits perfect with room for another good layer, it's a little long as well. I definitely need another thick layer under this to be warm, it's pretty thin would be by only complaint.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a soft light beautiful to put on jacket. I got this a lot big to go over another puffy when it's really cold outside. Thhe zipper would get stuck at the bottom. The insulation isn't super duper warm but its nice.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the Gortex material. Wanted a new winter jacket that is light weight, with the warmth of a heavy jacket for winter conditions, but also not so heavy to wear in mild weather as well. Very Happy with this jacket.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Awesome jacket! I did have to exchange for a smaller one. But I loved all the features it offers! One requirement for me was to find a water resistant jacket with a hood, chest pocket.
I traveled all over Alaska in good weather and foul weather. This jacket is magnificent. I only had to wear one long sleeve t-shirt under it. Well worth the money!
