Odd bridge

I love the shape, style and colour of these glasses but they have a strangely thick spot at the top of the bridge that leaves a crease in my forehead. I’ve had other smiths that didn’t have this so I’m not sure what happened with these ones. The fancy strap connects easily and is almost unnoticeable too.

New Favorite!

I have been eyeing these Rockaway sunnies for a while and finally snagged a Tortoise pair! As usual, the ChromaPop lenses are the best in the biz, clear color, sharp contrast! I love the slight round shape of these, they're lightweight and just curved enough that they block out more sun from my peripherals than my Lowdown or Shoutout sunglasses. They're the perfect combo of style and function! They're great for people with smaller faces and they don't move when I smile, a common theme with these high cheekbones (thanks mom!) So comfortable I forget I'm wearing them. Buying sunglasses online can be challenging but these are a definite favorite in my growing Smith collection. Just buy them!

Pop of Color! :rainbow:

These ChromaPop lenses deliver more clarity on the water than I could have ever expected. I have owned a lot of polarized lenses, but few have delivered such clarity when cutting through the glare of the ocean's surface, allowing me to clearly see below the surface. I also LOVE the tortoise shell-to-turquoise fade on the frame and spring hinges make these easy to put on quickly even when navigating a facemask or hat. Still getting used to the integrated wired croakies which takes a little fumbling to tighten once they're on your head. If you leave them loose, the wire bumps against your backpack or hood and pushes the sunglasses off your face. May have to swap them out for an non-rigid set up.

Pleased as usual

The glasses look and fit great. The lenses are very clear. This is my third pair with this type of lens. When I ordered them I did not know that they came with a lanyard, which attaches by snapping on to the end of the arm through little holes. This seems kind of gimmicky and it seems like the attachment portion could easily break. I would have been more pleased with a traditional attachment. Regardless, I am pleased as usual with Smith.

I spend most of my time on the water or on a job site outdoors, over the years buying different brand glasses smith has the best clarity and style. On the water inshore or offshore clarity is better than other brands. I have chroidopathy which is sensitive eyes to sunlight and let me tell you it helps. Warrant department is A plus. Rubber pice started coming off and smith got me a new pair. Smith glasses are my go to from now on.

Minimal slippage and great features

Overall, these sunglasses are great. I have a more oval/narrow petite face and these work really well for me. There is some slippage when the sweat is pouring but overall hold their place well. The lenses are fantastic. One minor thing that I dislike is how the SMITH logo on the outside is just a sticker. I’ve had these two weeks now and the logo has already came off. This is disappointing as it was a nice finishing touch.

I’m only giving these a three because Smith used to be my go to for shades because they had a lot of non polarized lenses. Why non polarized? Because electronic screens and polarized lenses do not play well. Try driving a modern car or motorcycle with these and you will only see half the displays. Heads up displays are the greatest invention in modern cars but you can’t see them with polarized lenses. Check your navigation system and wonder why the display is dark. It’s your polarized lens. Can’t see your phone. It’s your polarized lenses. I seriously have ten pairs of smith glasses and this and another are the only polarized lenses and I never grab them. And if I do, I am immediately disappointed by how they mask out all my electronic devices. Please Smith bring back your non polarized lenses and let people know why they don’t want them. Help the world see the light. You have the power. Use it for the good of mankind

Wife’s go to ocean glasses!

Purchased for my wife primarily for use on the ocean. She loves how light they are. Even on long days on the boat her comment was hardly feels like I am wearing glasses. Only reason did not give 5 stars is she says when wearing ball cap style hat the combined fit is impeded. She loves the quality of both the frame and lenses.

The protection from the sun,

The protection from the sun, the arms are thick enough to block enough of the sun from the side to not be blinded from the side. the nose piece doesn't let the glasses slip while outdoors in the sun keeps the fit where you want it. The lanyard is a little troublesome to put on at first hoping it will be easier as I use it.

I found the lens to

I found the lens to be very small and when riding into the wind while on the water my eyes became very irritated. I purchased some safety-glass side shields and it helped but not very much. As for being able to see fish and other objects in 2 to 8 feet of clear water they were very good. Even through the glare and waves.
