Small but mighty
This hip bag is small but great! The bag is structured enough that I can unzip with one hand, but because of the more rigid fabric it has no flex to stuff items. Easily fits some go to items like phone wallet and keys and I was able to make a super minimal "diaper bag" for quick trips! Daily carry: I can put my wallet in the back pocket, small sunglass case, phone, pen, and keys comfortably. Mom carry: 1 diaper, one disposable changing pad, pacifier, dog bags, small pack of wipes, hand sanitizer, and burp cloth The green color is fantastic!
My new favorite accessory!
I was in the market to buy into the hip bag trend and this one comports with the outdoor recreational quality I usually strive for. High quality buckles, zipper "sealing", and material (especially being made from recycled ocean plastic) are all big draws. On a hike I ran into a bush of sticky seeds that got all over my torso, and they were easiest to remove from this bag without damage compared to the rest of my clothes. I used this bag on a shorter hike in warmer weather and at a fair that had a severe storm blow through. This bag is the perfect size to be functional, lightweight, and modest. On both the hike and at the fair I had everything I needed tucked away and easily accessible throughout the day. On the hike, I of course couldn't carry a water bottle in it, but that was the only essential I was missing. For shorter trips, this hip bag is definitely the way to go over a backpack. It stayed safely secure to me on rides at the fair and I liked being able to keep it in front of me to avoid theft. Easy to adjust and use, this bag didn't even disappoint in a severe rainstorm. The fair stalls closed their windows and we had to walk a mile to get back to our shuttle. While the paper products inside of my bag got damp and wrinkly, everything else (including my phone) stayed safe and functional. You can see how wet me and the outside of the bag were in the photo I'm wearing a black shirt in.
Nice bag, but overly limited storage capacity
I like this bag, but I wish the main storage compartment were 2 inches wider on both ends. It's a bit too narrow to store what I'd like (soft flask, gel, phone). It's great for carrying my phone and has a convenient zipper pouch on the rear, but the limited size means I just don't use it as much as I'd expect.
Small but mighty hip pouch
This hipbag is a perfect little pouch for biking, short runs, and walks around town! Am constantly walking with my dog in our neighborhood and local hiking trails, and with most companies shrinking their pocket sizes in shorts, it's great and more comfortable way to bring the essentials. When I don't want to carry a backpack, this is perfect to bring some dog essentials, phone, and a small pocket water bottle. The material is incredibly comfortable, and love that it is made with recycled materials. The only reason I cannot give this a 5 star review is that its a little tight to carry wallet/keys/phone and my sunglasses.
Nice spacious pocket extension
Nice spacious fanny pack. This also has a long enough strap where it can be extended to use as a cross body bag as well. It has a good sized main compartment and a convenient zipper pocket on the backside for a wallet or item needing more securing. It can easily fit sunglasses, a phone, wallet, keys, gloves and a hat. It has a simple but effective design.
GOT Bag
Initial review of this bag is pretty good. Four out of five stars because there isn’t anything special about this bag. Its size is generally big enough for phone, wallet, and a few other things. Compared to other products, it doesn’t have a particular edge. That being said, if you are looking for this type of bag, this one has it all. It’s essentially a fanny pack that you can always wear as a side satchel or cross shoulder. It covers a great amount of needs. Need a little bag at the gym to keep your wallet, keys, and phone close by? Get this bag. Need a little bag to keep your phone and snacks handy on a hike? Get this bag. Headed to the store and need just the essentials but you are short on pockets? Get this bag. I primarily use it for hiking and the gym. I love being able to carry my water bladder on my back and having this bag close by, so I can quickly grab a snack or my phone to snap a shot. It’s also great to keep the valuables close at the gym. Gym lockers can be hard to trust these days. It’s nice to be worry free, and you don’t even notice it’s there. The bag appears to be manufactured well, but time will tell for sure. It fits comfortably and has a lot of variability in sizing. Really, no complaints.
Small and Sturdy pack
The GOT Bag HipBag 2.0 is a small fanny pack. It is water resistant and made of sturdy material. I did find that it was smaller than I expected. I was able to fit my phone, wallet, and keys but not much else. However I found that it was a great bag to use for a small first aide kit. I tend to go on a hikes that are short enough that don't need a backpack but it's always good to have some basic first aide supplies. The sturdiness of the bag and water resistance makes it ideal for it, but I would use larger fanny packs to carry more items.
Small, good for everyday use, not for hiking.
I used this as an everyday bag because it was a bit small to use on a hike or bike ride. It was smaller than I thought when looking at the photos. It fits my cell phone, wallet, cars keys and maybe could fit some smaller items like chap stick or some hair ties/headbands. I’m small and have a waist of 28-30 inches and the I tightened the strap as far as it could go and it was still slightly loose. The band is also not very thick which made it seem like it was going to fall of my waist even more. I ended up using this as a shoulder bag because of this. That being said it is a good little bag that could be used for everyday use like walking the dog but I would not use this for hiking or biking like I use other hip bags. I also did not like the lack of pockets. It only has the one main compartment.
the perfect tiny pack!
The perfect small pack! When I want to downsize from my larger bag for a concert, walk, or grocery store, this is my go to bag. I can fit my phone, wallet, keys in the larger section (with some room to spare), and a granola bar or two in the hidden zipper section on the back. I usually wear it across my chest instead of on my waist, and there’s plenty on strap to adjust for this. Bonus: it’s made with ocean impact plastic!
Perfect and reduces plastics in ocean
Just what I was looking for when I was ready to stop carrying keys, wallet, phone, pocket knife and air pods in my pocket, i also now carry sunglasses in this bag. I usually wear it crossbody, but can do fanny pack if I want to. love that the company is removing ocean plastics.
