Easy access backpacking addition
Perfect size addition for backpacking. 3 zippable pockets (2 small, 1 main with separate pockets). Provides easy access to my phone, snacks, fly fishing gear, whatever you need. Keeps you from taking off your backpack for access to those small, often needed items. Keeps a boxy shape without being cumbersome. You’ll forget you’re wearing it. Looks good, too.

Functional + Stylish but Noisy!
For some reason this hip pack doesn't have soft padding over the zipper tabs (handle, pull, puller, whatever you call it), and they clang against each and the fabric very noisily. I think it's a potential dealbreaker and may return or retrofit, but for $50, I think this is a major design flaw. If you're only using it for urban settings, you might not notice the noise. If you want it to take on neighborhood walks or bike rides, then you will notice. It's odd because they sell other hip pack varieties on their website, with the zipper tab designed in a material other than metal. I recommend going with one of those packs or another brand entirely. Other than that, it's attractive, spacious and durable and I love all the pockets.

Super handy and stylish!

Love this new bag and wear it mostly as a cross body look, rather than around my waist. Only caution is that the straps did cause pilling on a brand new Lululemon workout shirt made of nylon/polyster which was a bummer. But it's great to hold phone, keys, chapstick and credit cards, without having to lug around a big purse. Also, I ordered one for my brother in Michigan and it never arrived, but the customer service people were super helpful in tracking it down with me, by phone, and it was hiding at the MI post office. I appreciated their help.

So Much Better than I Expected

I bought this to carry a camera, dog treats, and little odds and ends so they'd be easier to get to when hiking, and ended up getting rid of my purse and just using this all of the time. It's really convenient and looks way nicer than the old fanny packs int he 90's.

Zippers are noisy!

Seconding previous review that the bag is great functionally, but zipper noise is a complete dealbreaker. The zippers clank against themselves (and each other on the main pocket) and given that you wear this on your hips, the noise is nonstop. I thought about outfitting them in cute duct tape or something of the sort, but for $50 I decided to go with a different hip pack. However, the pockets are excellent, it keeps the square shape well, and the material is nice.

Best color

Just got one more Fjallraven gadget for my collection and I must say the ULTRAMARINE blue is even more beautiful when you watch it directly. It brings me Greek islands memories. It's spacious and the elastic band in the back is a good idea to avoid having the strip hanging. The only negative point is the same I have with all the Kanken line. The washing instructions are very poor. And light colors look dirty very easily. When trying to remove stains you have the riske to remove colour even if using a sponge. Also I would like to recover initial texture and waterproof and find no directions. Is your Was useful for this purpose?

Great Everyday Pack

I recently took this pack on a three week trip throughout Ecuador, from the beach, to the mountains, to the city. It kept my everyday carry items organized and safe. The zippers are great for my use, not too noisy. No, it's not waterproof, but the pack also zips up nicely underneath a raincoat. My phone only fits in the main compartment, but having the front pouch, the back pouch, and the internal flap help keep things neatly divided and safely sperate. The top handle is also a great anchor for temporarily hooking other items with a carabiner to stay hands free. I also have the Ulvo med Hip Pack for more rigorous activities when needed as it is more geared for adventure activites.

Nice pack

This pack is surprisingly spacious. I couldn’t comfortably fit a pair of glasses in my last one, but I can now. The inside keyring hook helps with organization. It has an elastic band to keep the extra strap from flapping around.

Best for Protection and Activities

I love this little fanny pack. I find it the perfect size for carrying essentials like my phone, wallet, mask, etc. I also love that the strap is adjustable and fits a wider range of sizes than other packs that I have had. I like placing it high on my waist. I feel safer carrying my wallet in this pack depending on where I am. I think my mini and my classic always make me worried someone will reach in if I am in a huge venue like a music festival. With the pandemic, I am not going to large crowded gatherings, but it is nice to use for rollerskating around the park! I love the fun colors, but I got black as it is very versatile and I use it much more often than my colorful kankens.
