Perfect.
Owned 2.5 L bronze/brown color for ~4 months, I literally would not change a thing, it's been perfect. I've only owned one other sling and I have zero desire to own anything other than this one. Zippers are smooth but require a firm pull. Strap is comfortable and doesn't encourage overloading the bag, and the magnetic strap clasp is perfectly secure yet incredibly easy and intuitive to engage/disengage. Elastic gussets keep it as flat as possible depending on how much stuff you put in it, which also helps keep things from moving around too much. Probably the thing that makes this so good for me, personally, is the way the straps are configured in how they attach to the bag. This static loop setup allows me to keep a carabiner on each loop, as well as allows me to route the shoulder strap to wrap around the entire bag, converting into it's own sort of self contained pouch. Additionally, it just so happens that this configuration also allows me to mount to my bike rack - it fits so perfectly like this it's hard to believe they weren't made for each other. 5/5 would recommend.

I love this bag and I'm so excited to see it being sold now via REI. I have had mine for over a year. Like the easy magnetic sling clip. It's well designed, key sash in the front pocket with a small divider, don't have to remove the key to open the door. The back flush pocket for stashing cash or receipts. The inner pockets hold my sell, a sleeve for my readers and I can stash a wallet, dog treats or other smaller things. I'm also a lefty and love that I can one hand open from either direction from main pocket

My wife has been using the Bellroy Venture Sling 2.5L for a couple of weeks across everyday errands, travel, and vacation. Overall, it’s a thoughtfully designed sling with premium materials, but there are a few tradeoffs. The bag is compact but slightly larger than many similarly sized belt bags, which gives it a bit more usable space. The materials feel high quality and durable, and the strap attachment points are cleverly designed so the bag flattens into a slimmer profile when it isn’t full. It also includes several internal organization pockets, which can be helpful for separating smaller items. At the same time, the extra pockets can sometimes make it harder to quickly find things compared to simpler designs with a single main compartment. The strap is fairly thin and lightweight. While that helps keep the bag low-profile, a wider strap would likely make it feel more stable and comfortable during longer wear. The PU-coated zippers are a nice touch for water resistance, but they’re also a bit stiffer and require more effort to open. Some reviews highlight the stability of the sling during movement, but in practice it behaves about the same as most bags in this category. Overall, the Venture Sling feels very well made and uses premium materials. However, it costs roughly twice as much as many popular belt bags in this size range, and the practical advantages may not feel dramatically different for everyday use.
Great Sling
Very nice cross body sling. The pouches are well thought out and my items feel secure. I haven’t had the sling for very long but I have experienced some irritation from the strap on my neck as sometimes the strap rides up past my shirt collar and rubs my skin which can be uncomfortable. Also, when I place my glasses or sunglasses into the pouch with the black spandex, they often get hung up by the ear pieces. I still enjoy the sling.
Exactly perfect for daily wear
Great quality and design. Perfectly fits my phone keys wallets etc.
