Great for a few years, but did not last :(

Disclaimer: I am reviewing this after 4 years of use. I loved this spork until this year. I have never dishwasher it. Or used hardly any soaps for that matter on it. Just a rinse and dry. Pulling it out of storage this year, the anodized coating/process seems to have failed. It’s feels like a chalkboard and almost has a residue coming off. I do not feel safe using this if I’m consuming aluminum. I got this spork thinking it would be a one time forever purchase as I’ve been through too many silicone and plastic ones to count and this was the go-to for many folks when backpacking. But these don’t last forever! Just a heads up for those wanting a longer lasting product. Was great for a few years of heavy use but not as durable as expected. SO surprised.

Missed the mark

Sea to summit frontier spork, horrible design. Ergonomics are uncomfortable, the tight ribbing in the back makes it hard to get stuck on food off and it’s sharp. I personally won’t purchase anymore sea to summit cutlery till they go back to the “Alpha light” design. Sorry :(

Not for me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The spork is well designed and definitely long enough, it is light weight and feels comfortable in my hand. Easy to pack for camping. But the big issue for me is the way it feels in my mouth . I don’t like the way it feels against my teeth’s. Kind of like the nails and the chalk board. If you have that sensory issue, it isn’t for you, but if that doesn’t bother you , then it’s great. It’s made of aluminum so it won’t rust .

Great Products, Poor Packaging

Products are excellent as expected. REI should consider doing a better job of packaging orders as the company should be focused on waste in the environment. The order: A Toaks Pot, A Spork, and 2 Small dry packaged meals, came in TWO separate shipments from different carriers, and included a Box and Packing Paper that was so large you could fit a sleeping bag and pad inside of it. I would hope REI would do better in the future to reduce waste, and potentially offer the customer to "ship in one complete shipment" or "reduce packaging waste" options upon checkout. Thanks!

Sea to Summit Ultralight Spork - Long Handle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used this spork for freeze dried meals in a 5 day back country hunt. Fantastic purchase. Ideal usage for freeze dried meals like ReadyWise that might be taller and require a longer spoon length.

Awesome Spork

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Its lightweight, durable, great length, and long enough to reach into food pouches and fit in my hand great. I haven't used this one yet. The finish is nice and sleek and overall great quality. Four stars is because of you are buying for many people could get expensive.

Handy spork for travel!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not sure what size I was expecting but at-least longer to fit in a pot and not have my hand in direct flame?! And it’s close. The spork is in the center and you can see how it sizes up to traditional plastic fork and table fork.

Very good spork to have

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this spork for free from influencer for an honest review. I love this spork. It’s got a good grab on food, not to sharp. It’s very sturdy. It’s a good quality spork. It’s not to wide to place food in you mouth.

Light spork, fork part a little lacking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The spork is very light and seems like it would be good for camping. The issue I had was the fork part didn't work too well. It was hard to pick up things with the fork part. The spoon part was fine.

Great tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have not gone camping yet so I am not sure how it holds up outdoors. However it’s very durable feeling and a great size . It seems very easy to clean due to the material it’s made of
