Awesome tent!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tent is great! Every time I have went tent camping I wake up as soon as the sun comes up because it's beaming in the tent, not this one! With the room darkening technology it can be full sun and it's still dark inside it has plenty of room for a smaller tent I love that it has a entrance area to put your shoes or to keep from getting the rest of the tent dirty the pictures I made really do not do this tent justice it really is incredible and backed by a good name you simply can't go wrong with anything Coleman!

Great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have used this Skydome 4-person tent several times. It is lightweight yet sturdy and so easy to set up. The first time took about 10 minutes as we got familiar with it, but each subsequent time took 5 minutes or less. It's helpful to have a second person, but I can do it alone without problem. We like the screen room to leave our shoes in, and also as a covered place to sit when someone is still sleeping in the main part. It could certainly also be used as extra sleeping room. There are several pockets inside to put items up where they won't get stepped on (I like to put my phone and eyeglasses in them at night). I like how easy it is to remove or fold back the cover when we want to see the stars. I was skeptical that the tent would actually be dark enough to sleep beyond day break, but it really is dark inside! I also appreciate how easy it is to take down and to store in the carry bag. We are very pleased with the Coleman Skydome!

Coleman 4-Person Dark Room Camping Tent!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Coleman 4-Person Dark Room Skydome Camping Tent is the best tent I have ever used. With a quick setup under 5 minutes, this amazing Camping Tent lets me enjoy more time with friends and family on every camping trip. There is plenty of room to stretch inside the spacious interior of this tent as well as the nearly vertical walls offer 20% more headroom, and a wide door design means enables me to move air beds, sleeping bags, and other gear in and out with ease. The Dark Room technology of this tent blocks 90% of sunlight and reduces heat inside the tent so that I can rest at any time in comfort. Moreover, the WeatherTec system's tub-like floor, patented welded corners, and inverted seams help keep you and your gear dry. The strong frame has been tested to withstand up to 35 mph winds, as well as the Mesh storage pockets and a gear loft keep small items organized. Also, fits 1 queen-size air bed. I am totally in love with this awesome tent and just cannot think of using any other tent, as well as carry this tent to every backpacking and camping trips. In fact, I have already recommended the Coleman 4-Person Dark Room Skydome Camping Tent to many of my friends and family and several of them have already purchased and used this tent in their camping trips and they all love using this spacious and functional tent a lot.

Good but not all weather.

Mostly love it. I like to sleep in and this definitely keeps dark. Haven’t had a chance to try it in the rain. Resistant against wind for sure. Keeps heat in if you have a heater. Fits my inflatable queen with about a foot to spare and put in a side table. The porch is the best addition I looked for when I was in the market. Love the porch. Currently on a camping trip in truck haven and the wind PLUS sand is not a good combo for this tent. This tent is not sand storm resistant. SO much sand in it. It would be convenient if there were additional zipper-able seals to keep out dust and in this case sand.

Super Easy Setup - Good Quality

I received this tent as a replacement since the last Coleman tent did not last 1 year without significant issues. I am happy with this tent. It is easy for 1 person to setup and take down. Having the attached poles I thought would not be good, but I was wrong, it makes things very easy. We went camping about dozen days in June. A new place every night so the tent got a lot of setup/tear down time. It endured 2 major storms with no water in the main tent part. I little water (measured in tablespoons) in the front part. This was not a big deal. The poles were an issue in my last tent and they have held up great so far. The only issue I have is it is not as tall inside as my last tent. I have to bend over to dress in the tent. Not a huge issue, just did have to do that in the last tent. But rather have a durable tent so all is good.

Great Tent. Set up a bit complicated

We recently bought this tent and took it on a weekend camping trip. It was really spacious, and the dark room technology was super nice in the morning. I have a feeling we are going to love the screened in porch, and I really like that my dog can sleep separately from us (ticks). The only issue is that the tent is a little complicated to set up and the included instructions aren’t very detailed. I’m a lifelong camper and still had to watch a video to figure it out, but basically the tent needs to be staked out to retain it’s shape. The ground where we went camping was loose and we weren’t able to get the stakes to hold in place, but we made it work. Hopefully this weekend will be better.

Spacious and easy to pack away

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tent fits my family of 4 (2 adults and 2 young kids). The removable cover on top turns the tent into a dark room. My kids and I have been camping out in our yard. There are insect netting that can be zippered down for ventilation. After use, this tent packs nicely into the bag with handles. Awesome tent for backyard or for the woods.

Amazing Tent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What an amazing tent this is! It is much better then the one we currently own. The quality is much better. The features are much better and it has a lot more room then the one we currently own. I love the dark room feature. I think that is pretty neat. I also like the added screened room which is nice and provides extra space especially for your shoes, etc. The tent itself is lightweight and really easy to put up. Its nice and sturdy and made with good quality material. It is really duable. I also love the carry bag that it fits perfectly in. I love the brand name. It is a company we all know and trust and would defintely recommend this amazing tent.

Love the design

I am absolutely in love with this tent! The vestibule opening and the tent door are large and roomy--no more crawling into and out of my tent. Because the vestibule is attached to the tent bottom, I don't need to close the tent door--and there is a convenient pocket to store it in. This makes the tent feel more roomy. If the weather is dry I can lower the window coverings on the vestibule and look right outside in the morning. The only reason I didn't give this tent five stars is that I'm not convinced the darkroom is necessary. It may be nice during the summer when I want to nap and the tent is not in a shaded area. Otherwise, I don't really need it.

Not waterproof

This tent isnt waterproof. It rains every time we camp so we have quite a bit of experience with this. It’s a design flaw among other things so there’s no fixing it. It doesn’t matter how dark the tent is if you’re wet. The tent is also very dark (obviously) but there’s no windows inside the main tent so you cannot see anything or let any light in or even look outside. Again, design flaw. I highly doubt we will ever use this tent again. I hate everything about it.
