Sports Delight

Great sunglasses! Smith is my number one. I used to be a Persol guy. Persol is a great fashion and vision brand but I think they lack function. Strangely, I am a person who rarely loses things, but I have lost 3 pairs of Persols. Yikes!!! I needed a new brand and I discovered SMITH and will not go back. The Longfins with "Chromapop" really makes things come alive and pop. I have the gray version to break out for a little more sport style. The glasses have high function with light blockers on top and sides. They wear a bit large for someone with a smallish face. The fit is great. The glasses came with additional add-on little rubber ear holders. The glasses stay in place for long periods with minimal slip. Overall, I would definitely purchase again but I would buy the blue reflector lenses. Just a preference.

What Customer Service Should Be

Having switched from Costa to Smith some 10 years ago I never had to submit a warranty claim until recently. The process was smooth and seamless and my glasses were immediately approved for replacement with a voucher worth more than the price I paid originally; needles to say I was beyond satisfied. I now have 4 pairs of Smith sunglasses and will not look at any other brand. Because of this exceptional Customer Service I even implored a friend who owns a high end tackle shop in West Babylon, NY to add Smith to his sunglass offerings. Thank you again for a great product and even better Customer Service. Signed a Smith customer for life.

These may be my favorite shades I have ever purchased. I was really going back and forth about glass vs plastic lenses before I bought these. I have a pair of smith Barra that I also absolutely love with the plastic lenses so I was concerned glass may be too heavy, or that they would fall off of my face easily, but I couldn’t have been more mistaken. I am extremely happy with the switch to glass. They look and feel amazing. They are not heavy at all, they don’t fall of my face, I’m not spending any time pushing them back up into position on my nose. I am very active and I love the comfort of the frames. The glass chromapop lenses are stunning both to see through, and to look at. After purchasing I think I would actually prefer the glass lenses over the plastic. The optics are amazing. I couldn’t be more happy with my purchase, these are amazing in every area and I would 10/10 recommend.

Buy the shades… seriously

These are hands down my favorite sunglasses. I’ve had issues with other brands either squeezing my face, irritating the tops of my ears or rubbing my nose raw… I can wear these all day with no issue what do ever. The lenses work great for fishing ( actually they’re a must have for fishing) and every day use. Hands down, will only buy Smith shades from now on.

Excellent fit, style and versatility. The longfin is everything you need in one pair. Casual, sporty, outdoors whatever you do they work in every scenario. I own 4 different pair of smith. I will never choose another brand. Keep making great products!

These are superb glasses for fishing. I splurged for the glass and do not regret it. There was one little quality control issue with the Smith logo but no biggie.

Glass Vs. Plastic!!!

I've owned several pairs of Smiths, including a couple other Longfins. I love the clarity of the lenses but this time decided to get the glass lenses and I could not be happier about the switch. I love the way the glasses sit of my face, I think they might be a little heavier because they are glass lenses but I can barely notice. I just LOVE the feel of these ones! If you are thinking if it is worth it to switch to glass lenses, but are worried that they might be too heavy I could say with all confidence from my experience that I think you would be happy you switched!

Works for rivers

Took this on a fishing trip to Gallatin river in Montana.glad I did because river glare was pretty intense; these glasses outperformed another pair of Costas I got. Glare was reduced to the point it wasn no longer a factor. Excellent glasses for fishing

Got the longfins with copper

Got the longfins with copper lenses for my fly fishing. I don’t feel as cool without my wayfarer style shades but the Longfins absolutely nailed everything I bought them for: no glare from inside lense when sun is at my back, good visibility in water, and comfortable to wear all day. Gave them a 4 not because they don’t deserve a 5, but because I’m salty about having a smaller face and they just look big on me. For fishing shades I’d buy these again for sure! Cheers
