No, I do not recommend this product

Size M grossly over-sized for a 6’2” 200lb athletic build. 2-3 inch gap between neck and collar with 3-4 inches of open air around torso provides little body-heat retention or warmth even with layers. I wouldn’t be so critical but I’ve bought many size Medium vests, jackets and long sleeves from Marmot over the years and appreciated the athletic fit… Now feels like tailoring is meant for the scale-tipping masses. Please refocus design for your core audience of athletic outdoor enthusiasts.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the echo vest so far! Currently too warm to wear it much... but I bought it to use as a lightweight, water-safe, core-warmth layering piece for downhill skiing and steelhead fishing. It's replacing another light synthetic puffy vest (from another maker), which matted down in just two seasons - thereby becoming a little less warm, I feel. Long-time Marmot buyer with high-hopes for this new(ish) product!

Great vest, but the listed weight of 4 ounces is wrong. Marmot's website also shows 4 ounces. I contacted Marmot customer service and they clarified that the vest has 4 ounces of insulation. The vest I received, size small, weighed in total almost 11 ounces.
