I am very pleased with my purchase that was on sale for half price! I had been looking 👀 at these for nearly two years but they were out of my price range. The pair are a perfect fit and comfortable as I break them in around the house recently. I look forward to many hiking trips with my new Women’ Pyrenees!
Bulky & shoddily made. Left boot arrived w/ a weird lump over the top, as if the leather was misshapen. Could also see some glue where the rubber meets the boot. Each step was painful around the area where the lower front of my leg connects w/ my foot. Also, very orange in person. Thought it’d be more of a rust color as shown online.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love keen boots but. . . All my boots end up splitting at the seams at widest part of my boots. Usually they barely make it through the wet Fall Winter Spring season leaving me with wet feet. So this time I decided to skip the seams! The fit is awesome, wide toe box and not too tight across my high arches. I worried they’d be too stiff but it hardly feels like I’m wearing boots. Time will tell how they hold up. Sale price for Orange sealed the deal.
I wanted to love these. They were great on low grade hikes, but when I started to hike some steeper terrain my feet kept sliding forward on the decline smashing the tips of my toes. I tried tying them several different ways and even with heel locks tied so tight they were not comfortable, my feet still slid forward. I know I have narrow feet so I am sure this played a part, but I was hoping I could figure out a way for them to be comfortable on declines. I did not.
My feet actually did not hurt after days of hiking, and they always do. So, good job on design.
I really liked these initially, but after wearing them longer, they started to kill my ankles. There's a really prominent and hard seam on the shoe tongue right at the ankles. Everything else was great. This is such an unfortunate design flow.
I found that these boots run really big even for Keen. I normally wear a 7 and had to get a 5.5. I purchased because of the wide toe box, but I find they are pretty uncomfortable in the ankles and dig into the front of my ankle leaving a mark. I like how rigid they are and I like the toe box so I'm still deciding if I will keep them.
I have hiked in these now for several weeks. They are extremely comfortable and they didn't take much time to break in. They are warm and waterproof, I have hiked in snow about 6 inches deep at times and my feet stayed warm and dry. I highly recommend. They have great toe space. I normally wear a Womens size 8 to 8.5 in most of my sneakers and hikers depending on the brand. I got these in a 8.5 Womens and they fit perfect with a nice amount of toe room wearing mid-weight hiking socks.
I bought these boots at the end of May 2024, so 7 months ago. I wear them 5 days a week for work. They are lightweight and very comfortable. My only complaint is that they very quickly stopped being waterproof. To combat this significant issue and to clean the boots, I treated the leather with some leather care products I have which has effectively re-waterproofed them. They are a great boot, definitely worth purchasing but I wish I had known up-front about the waterproofing.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these for two reasons. One, because I needed a new pair of cool looking boots. And two, because I recently sprained my ankle and I wanted a shoe/boot that was high enough to support and protect my ankle. These tick both boxes. I love the look of these boots. Plus they go over my ankle just enough to support and protect it. And they are so comfortable. I can't wait until can get out and really test them out on the trails once my ankle is completely healed.
