While these boots fit the way you want a pair of Keens to fit you, they seem to not be durable. Aside from really showing dirt making them look old when they have only been worn for about 6 weeks the foam is breaking off im chunks around the heel. These boots probably won't hold out through the year.
I tried on just about every pair of hoking boots in the store, with the nicest staff member, Michael. finally settled on these Keen boots. Excellent ankle support, toe box is nice and wide, great arch support. I love them and get manycompliments. lighter weight too, super comfortable and sturdy.
Comfortable,like waterproof high top sneakers
Wide-feet girlies rejoice!! These have a wider toe box and are not pointy at the toes. I typically buy a half size up to get some extra room but did not need it for these. Cushion and support is great!
I bought these boots a week before my trip. I wanted something that had a minimal break in time, lightweight but waterproof, a roomy toe box, and could handle some rougher terrain. I took these out to California, wore them on a few shorter hikes, then wore them to hike up half dome. I didn’t have any blisters and they definitely helped me complete the 17 mile hike. I would highly recommend this for a hiking shoe!
Have only done one hike with these so far, but they were the most comfortable of the 5 pair that I tried on, and provided good ankle support and sole protection on a rocky trail. I hesitated about buying because I didn't like the big purple heel, but then I can't see that when I'm wearing it - I can only see the tops of the shoe.
This shoe is lightweight on my feet but gives me the support my ankles need to hike inclines. They will get muddy but like the waterproof material and design.
I’m on the fence on how to write this review. I purchased these and wore on a 13 mile backpacking trip without breaking them and they were oh so comfortable, I didn’t even use my camp shoes. But….. after the 2nd time wearing they have chunks missing out of the sole of the heel and toe area. I feel like for this amount of money they should last more than 2 wears.
These boots run a little large so I had to exchange. While I love the way they look and fit, after hiking several rocky trails around Tucson I realized I didn't like the high top. It feels like a lot of extra material and I found myself frequently stubbing my toe while hiking on rocky trails. If you prefer high tops, these will probably be just fine.
I loved everything about this lightweight hiking boot, but after a few weeks the inside foam heel started to crack and peel. I was only using them for walking on trails, no rock scramble or other abrasive use. The damage appears to be from my heels hitting each other. If this is not common I would like a new pair, but I had to return those.
