Cute and functional

LOVE IT! I wore this skiing in below-freezing temperatures with a North Face base layer and (sometimes) a fleece. The color is as pictured, pockets where you want them, the hood fits over the helmet, has the elastic waistband to keep snow out. As someone new to snow sports, I'm not sure if the side opening is an advantage but it got the job done. There is a mesh lining that would occasionally snag on my nose ring so watch out for that. The material is on the stiffer side and the "crunch" sound from moving my head when my hood is up can be distracting.

Budget-Friendly, the Driftview Anorak Delivers

I recently purchased the North Face Women's Driftview Anorak, primarily for its attached, helmet-compatible hood. As someone on a budget, I was looking to avoid buying a separate balaclava, and this jacket delivers great value! I really appreciate the design-no front zippers make it easy to access while still maintaining a sleek look. Putting it on like a hoodie does make it a bit tricky with layers underneath, but that's expected with an anorak. On the plus side, it's lightweight and breathable, which is essential for snowboarding. Overall, it's stylish and functional, just what I need on the slopes. If you're looking for a great jacket without breaking the bank, I definitely recommend giving this one a try!

A must buy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this for a trip to Colorado where we would be skiing and hiking. While it looks thin, it exceeded my expectations in all the conditions we encountered. Despite fierce windchills it kept me warm.

Style meets quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love how it doesn't have zippers on the front, looks different! I've tried a different brand but ended up returning. TNF quality is the way to go, the quality never disappoints.

So comfort and beautifully designed!

This jacket is perfect for super cold and windy days, powder days, and spring bluebird days on the mountain. I can fit layers underneath this jacket if needed and the hood and collar protect my neck and head from the cold. The front pockets and zipper tags give me easy access to my phone and snacks even with gloves on. I LOVE LOVE this jacket! I am so happy with my purchase!

Mostly amazing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While wearing, this is one of the most functional snow jackets I've ever owned. The pocket placement, ease of access, and hood that fits and actually stays on over a helmet are all wonderful. I can access everything with mittens on. The only downside is that it is not super easy to take on or off and I need to take my helmet off first. The side zip helps a lot.

Size Up

I was a little weary of the weight of the jacket and what weather it would be good in but we just recently went to Winter Park in 15 degrees and it was amazing, it kept all of the cold out with a nice base layer underneath. My only suggestion would be to size up, I am usually a medium/large and I got the XL and it fits perfectly.

Versatile and cute!!

I love this jacket. I got an XL so I can layer underneath and it's perfect for winter skiing but will also be the perfect jacket once we get to spring skiing. I do wish there were zippers on both sides of the jacket to let air in for warmer weather rather than just the one zip to help get the jacket on.
