Great pants!! A couple things that could have made it a 5 star tho! There are no zipper pockets. It would be really great if there was at least one in case you need to do cartwheels or hang off of a cliff on a climb and not loose your keys or phone or whatever. Also the built in belt is a bit limited in adjustment. I bought a pair of 32's, they actually fit great when the belt is unhooked and have enough stretch to fit ok when it is hooked. It would be nice if the belt could be adjustable in case you've added a bit of pandemic weight. OR doesn't offer a 33 waist and I felt the 34's were just too big every where else
Love everything about this pant, except why not even one zip pocket? I'm keeping them, but really wish one of the pockets had a zip.
I bought these pants to give me a thicker and more casual pant to wear to the crag and to the pub on the way home. These are ideal. The fit is trim looking while still not limiting mobility. The thicker material blocks the wind nicely and kept my legs on the hotter side of warm on a windy and cloudy 10 degree C day. The integrated belt provides great and comfortable adjustments while not adding any bulk under a harness. A few more increments would be amazing but that is a nitpick. Only con so far is that after three days of use one the pockets is starting to come unsewn. Should be an easy fix but shouldn't be happening this faster either. I am 180cm and 81kg. The 32in waist fit perfectly and the 30in inseam works great for over casual shoes and keeps the hem out of the way on the wall.
I'm 5'7/#180 and I bought the 34 Short. They fit well and are cool on hotter days. Although I like the "belt" I find the function a bit odd. I have to unhook it the make the pant comfortable at my weight. To solve this I would make the attachment to the clasp stretchy instead of a non flexible webbing material. Hard to explain unless you have the pant in hand. To compensate I just unhook the clasp and wear a regular belt through the belt loops and it covers up the built in belt.
This pants are perfect for me. I have a hard time finding pants that fit well, since most of the time they are super tight around my thighs and butt. These pants don't do that to me fortunately. Moreover, they are lightweight, breathable, and aesthetically blend well for both casual and outdoor activities. I just did a trip in AK with some casual weekend hiking and they performed well under the conditions. I just wish they had more color options to choose from for EV shoppers.
I'm obsessed with these pants. There's not a detail I dislike from the slight stretch in the fabric to the strong stitching and durable, light material (not to mention the adjustable built in waistband). Not to mention these pants are classy enough to make it through most office settings. These have quickly become a mainstay in my wardrobe.
Wore these on a couple multi day hikes. Very durable, water resistant and comfortable. When I say durable, I mean durable. I encountered branches and thistles that would turn my thin, weak skin to shreds yet didn't even scratch this fabric. Even snagged it on barbed wire at one point and I can barely tell after.
I rolled the dice on these OR pants and came out a winner. The clearance sale price was low, so I gave it a go. I’ve worn them on roughly ten walks so far. They’ve been awesome. They breathe, they stretch, they just feel right. Knock wood they hold up.
Bought these for a trip to Grand Teton, held up flawlessly against angry sharp tree branches and significant rock scrambling and sliding down scree(all intentionally, of course). Came out good as new. Comfortable and breathable as well.
I love these pants, super light, very stretchy, fit true to size. However the stitching is already coming out on the back pockets after 4 months. Will definitely be exchanging in hopes I just got a bad pair.
