Worn these camping and backpacking a few times. I like the placement of the front pockets and the look/feel. The reinforced fabric around the ankles is nice as well. Stretch fabric for the main construction is good, and feels more rugged than I expected. The vented crotch is nice as well and has a unique construction.
Perfect pant for ALL casual outdoor activities (not a performance pant for a specific purpose). I love cargo pockets, but hate that most of the time its placed on the side, right at the articulation of the knee- so when you have something in there you're fighting with it everytime you bend your knee. OR got it right by placing the pockets higher and more centered on the thigh. Also, the fabric is high quality and heavier (these are not hikers for hot weather). Though these have only been around a few months, it seems the fabric is very abrasion resistant. These will take (within reason) anything you put them through.
I love these pants. They have quickly become my go to for everyday wear. They are thick enough to handle aggressive use, but still dry fairly quickly. My only critique is that some stitching is coming undone in the rear and around a few belt loops. I use a Wilderness Tactical belt with Velcro, so that may be contributing to the wear. Overall, they are comfortable, durable, and very versatile.
Purchased these pants on a decent sale. Figured I’d take a chance and if I didn’t like them I’d return them. When I got them. I was pleasantly surprised. These are obviously well-thought-out. Reinforced in all the right places. Including at the pockets. The rears of the pant cuffs. Even though these are somewhat cargo pants. The thigh pockets are completely flat. You don’t even notice they’re there. But when you need to use them for extra space. They become quite handy. I actually like them quite a bit as you don’t notice they’re there. The material is the right kind of stretchy. It’s got the right kind of give but still feels very durable. Frankly they are my go to now. I wear them almost daily. After a couple of washes they break in real nice. They’re true to size fit. For reference I am 5’11”. 190 pounds. And I purchased a 34 waist by 32 length. And they fit perfectly. They’re not too tight not too loose. In short they’re pretty awesome. This is not an AI generated review. Of course that’s exactly what AI would say… Right?? Cheers.
This is my second pair of these and I have been impressed how they are durable a breathe well. They stretch when you move. Plenty of pockets to store gear when on the trail. I whish they would have had a longer leg available when I ordered.
The pants are well made all the way around, it is fairly water resistant and will stop most wind from penetrating
