Got on sale for $7.50 as a dogwalking light. Great quality and feel, light output and tactical (temporary on) tail switch are great. Dislikes: no lanyard/Keychain or loop for 1. No Little difference between medium and high (do like only 2 settings w no flash) AAA batteries it 2x size it needs to be and some lights using C123s can double output. But at $10, great gift

Obviously this is small enough for a hat light, clipped onto the bill of a baseball hat, with the light pointing forward. Oddly, this light comes with a clip that would make the light shine onto the hat/face if used as a hat light. The next bigger size, the G32, has a 'reverse clip' but it pretty heavy for a hat light. I pried the clip off and reversed it. It sits pretty much in exactly the same spot which means the entire head is forward of the hat brim. It puts the weight further forward than ideal, but it works. I was concerned about breaking the clip since it's very thin metal, but managed with a thin screwdriver.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this flashlight a few weeks ago and could not be happier. It is a very small flashlight - it can easily fit in your pocket - yet is is extremely powerful for its size. The difference in brightness between the high power and low power beams is not very noticeable but both light beams are more than strong enough to illuminate your surroundings. This flashlight is also very durable and well made; i can see myself using this flashlight for years to come. The fact it uses a single AAA battery also makes it very user friendly as you do not have to use special batteries for it.

Nice replacement for the discontinued HP2

I had an old HP2 flashlight which is now discontinued. I called Coast and they were able to recommend the G22 which is comparable. Same approx. size and uses 1 AAA battery. Being a newer model, it is considerably brighter. It has two brightnesses, but doesn't zoom. I had to use a pliers to unscrew the cap the first time, but it works fine after that. For a small economical LED flashlight is works great. I only had to pay postage for the replacement. Great warranty. NOTE: If the lights get any more economical, the postage charge will be as much as the light.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pen light is easy to use and perfect! It's compact size let's me get into small spaces when looking for bottles and toys. I was able to find my lost credit card easily. It lights up a huge area! It has a low and high setting. Click once for low and click again for high. You can hook it on a belt loop easily or store it in a coat pocket. Battery comes with it so it can be used straight out of the package. My husband has already tried to take it to work with him. He might need his own shortly. Would definitely buy this light in the future.

I have purchased an additional one of these after having given one each to my son's and spouse. We were on a Cub Scout campout and my flashlight from another brand wasn't working right. My husband let me borrow his and it was so bright for a little flashlight. It was very durable, too. I was able to clip it to my jacket and walk around at night with no problem. So I purchased one for myself.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The G22 flashlight is such a great product. It is very small & lightweight while being super heavy duty at the same time. It is made of a heavy metal material so that it wears well but is small enough to keep in a pocket. It also has a clip on the side to help keep in in place in a pant or coat pocket, or side pocket of a backpack. The light has two levels & very bright capability. All in all a great product--we love camping & the outdoors & are always in need of a heavy duty flashlight (especially with 2 boys) & this one is great!
