Great Addition to my Coast Arsenal
Just received this little light and have already put it to use. This light is easy to carry with its pocket clip, and very bright when on turbo mode. Baling hay at night makes it a "go to" instrument with its beam and magnetic base when you need two hands free. I think the red mode will also help this light find its way into my hunting pack when deer season comes around. Could make an excellent tracking light.
Slayer Max looks awkward but....
This thing is 100 ergo! Love the hi/lo red beams and the white has plenty of power for most jobs. All beams are fixed but they are excellently focused for general use.
Didn't know how much I needed it.
The Slayer Max is an item I received for taking a survey. I have used a Coast headlamp for years daily. I have seen the Slayer on the website but never saw a need and was not to attracted to the design. Offer it to me free and I couldn't pass that up. I am shocked how much I use it. It goes in my front pocket of my jeans and I grab it constantly. Comfort is superb, magnets are a must have, and its just handy. I will buy more for gifts to my family and another for me in the near future. Best flashlight I've ever had no question.
Good light
I work in the GrandCanyon and purchased because of this reason last night 3 guests were on the trail well after dark my light was bright enough for them to see me coming from a distance I was glad I spent my money I just wish the highest setting would have held a few more minutes uther that that I am pleased with my purchase
Punches above its class
I've used this several times already while performing hvac work. Being magnetic helped free up my hands and avoided having a headlamp which can get hot in an already hot attic. Reason for 4 stars and not 5 is the red light really has no use for me. A UV option is preferable to find refrigerant leaks.
Essential Equipment
I have added the Slayer Max to my list of essential equipment. I have one in the house and one in my car for emergencies. It's a versatile flashlight with white light and red light. The magnetic base also allows hands free usage. I appreciate the integrated battery and USB-C charging.
Can't get enough of Coast Flashlights
I bought a Slayer with the red light to be able to have both the white and utilize the red light to preserve my night vision while flying or going into the field before sunrise to hunt. Since that first purchase, I've bought four as gifts and another two for in my cars.
Best EDC light I've ever owned
I'm a professional plumber, EDC this light and use it many times a day. Love it ! Very best EDC light I've aver had. I've become accustomed to having the red light at night especially when in the car. Nice bright light and doesn't mess up your eyes adjusted to dark.
Compact rechargeable light
This light is compact and sturdily built, it also offers different colors and intensity of beam. It is rechargeable , so it’s convenient and environmentally friendly. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a small portable light.
Slayer for the win
This light is perfect for every day carry. The slim profile fits nicely in my pocket. The light is very bright and the battery lasts a very long time. Except for the initial charge I haven’t had to charge it yet. Highly recommended.
