Plus-sized babe says YES!

I've been looking everywhere for activewear shorts with an in-seam long enough that my thighs won't eat them--these are the ones!! I bought them in every color available here and on the Brooks website. I am 5'6", 260 lbs, size 16-18 and I ordered the XXL. There is a little room so I probably could have gone with an XL. I'm obsessed with the fit on these and am grateful I can walk, hike, workout without having to pull them down constantly.

AMAZING!!!

I've been running for 15 years and have never been able to run more than 3 miles in shorts without my thighs chaffing until now! These shorts are hands down the best piece of athletic apparel I have ever had on my body! I was able to do an 8 mile trail run with some rain and they stayed right where they were supposed to the whole time. The taper of the legs prevents them from riding up, the wide waste band is comfortable and flattering, and the pockets and detailing are impeccable. The light weight fabric dried super quickly. These shorts are truly a game changer and will be my go to for running forever. (5'5 160lbs, size medium was perfect).

new faves, plan to buy more!

These are my new favorite shorts and I will likely get another pair in a different color. The material is lightweight. I have strong thighs and struggle with my thighs "eating" my shorts or my thighs chaffing, but these do a good job of staying down. The inseam is long enough to prevent chaffing. The only other shorts I can run in are biker style (legging style shorts) with 7+ inch inseams, so it's nice having a flowy option that works for me. Also, I love that they have pockets and the waistband is wide/comfy. Pre-pregnancy, I always wore medium bottoms. Postpartum the large fit well, I am 5' 6" and ~190 lbs with an athletic build + soft tummy

7" vs. 5" Chaser Shorts

5'3", 135#, Size SMALL I purchased these to wear under a rock climbing harness in southeastern heat. They wick sweat really well, and the vents along the top of the bum really help with airflow. They definitely fit larger overall than my 5" chaser shorts from 2021, but not so large that I would down-size. Love the mesh drop in pockets and the 3! waist band pockets. My iPhone 13 fits into the drop in pockets. Love that they don't have a full length side-split like the 5" chaser shorts. The rise is much higher than my 5" chasers, the lining has a full-coverage fit with the leg openings sitting lower--not at all a cheeky fit. I had to cut the elastics on my 5" chaser lining to not have it cutting into my bum, and this is not at all necessary with 7" pair. The shorts achieve exactly what I've been hunting for.

Thick thighs and they don’t creep up or fall down. Love!

I haven’t worn shorts to run or workout in decades. I usually prefer tights or leggings because my thighs are thick, and most shorts ride up the moment I move around. I’ve been wearing Brooks shoes forever and decided to give these shorts a try since I knew I could try them out and return them if they didn’t work out. After one wear, I can say that these are my new favorite shorts!! They don’t ride up at all. They let my legs breathe. I’m between sizes and sized up to make sure I had ample room to move around in them. The waistband is a teeny bit big, but I tied the inside into a little knot and they stayed up just fine. No falling down and no riding up. I’ll be buying more of these for sure!!!

Buy these shorts, you won’t regret it!!

These are the best shorts I’ve ever owned. I have been struggling to find a pair of flowy shorts that don’t ride up my large thighs and don’t make an awful swishing noise when walking/running. These are the answer!! The shorts do not ride up no matter how far I run or walk and they don’t make a ton of noise like other athletic shorts. I wear these pretty much daily in warm weather even when I’m not working out. Seriously, these are the only shorts I wear in the summer. I would love if Brooks made them in a “casual” style with the liner removed and with the little vents on the back sewn up.

Pickleball!!!

I am a 60 year old competitive Pickleball player. Best shorts I have found! They are my go to; my favorite. They cover my rear, allow me to move and they are long enough to not be self conscious. Would love to pick you guys us as a sponsor, but understand this is a reach. I am on the left in the submitted photo.

Great Shorts

Being a “bigger” these shorts are amazing! They ride up a little but the added length really helps!! I thought they also run a little big. Utilizing the draw string has helped a ton!

Bunch at hips.

Wanted to love these so bad but i don't. They are comfortable except they are not good for big hips. They bunch at the top and don't look flattering.

Fabric Bunches Weird

I wanted to love these shorts, but the fabric bunches up around the front pockets making these shorts unflattering. I will be returning them.
