Long enough to cover but comfy enough to move

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a long legged momma on the go, so having a pair of shorts that don’t make me feel like there is a whole lot of leg hanging out is a bonus! The 7” shorts also allow me to feel covered when sitting and not feel like I need to pull them down to have fabric to sit on. The built in undies don’t crawl or ride up when running or just doing chores around the house including squatting. The wide waist band doesn’t roll or feel or look odd under my shirts. I am 5’10”, 165 lbs and went with a large. They are loose and are just the right fit to not ride up or slide down. I completely recommend these if you are wanting more coverage without the bulky feeling or a lot of material, plus POCKETS!

So comfortable!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm in love with these Brooks Running shorts! The length is perfect-just the right balance between comfort and freedom of movement. The thick waistband is a game-changer; it stays put and doesn't roll down, even during intense activities. The color is super cute, adding a nice touch of fun to my gear. I wore them hiking during my recent trip to Hawaii, and they were so comtortable for all the trails I explored. Breathable, lightweight, and stylish-these shorts were perfect for my adventure! So far, I wouldn’t change a thing about them! Highly recommend!

Comfortable for short distances

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the lightweight feel and the color. Also, I love the design especially because these shorts have pockets. They are a bit longer than shorts I would typically wear so initially I was excited to wear these for longer runs since typically running in shorts there is a lot of friction. However, these really ride up super quick, I think because of how thin the material is, so I have stuck to wearing them during shorter runs. The fabric is amazing though and I will definitely be looking to purchase the shorter version.

Comfortable and Cute!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Women’s Chaser 7” Short 2.0 are unbelievably comfortable! The material is so soft and light and does not interfere with my workouts. I have run long distances, sprints, and done weightlifting workouts in the Chaser 7” in shorts and the waistband never once rolled down nor did the hem line rise up. I honestly felt like I was wearing nothing, they are that lightweight and comfortable. I like the thicker waistband with drawstring and also the liner within the shorts. They also have pockets (which is always a plus!) and a smaller pocket in the back for keys or even a snack for those longer runs. The 7” inseam is a little longer than what I would normally wear but honestly found them so comfortable that I don’t think twice about that anymore. They run true to size and wash and dry perfectly!

Not a fan

I wanted to love these but I don't. I rely on all the pockets from the original chaser 7". The 2.0 no longer have the front waste pockets for my key and fuel. I can't get my Samsung galaxy s23 in the back pocket. I use the side pockets for hydration and pepper spray. Yes I carry a lot of stuff but that is one of the things I love about the original chaser shorts, lots of pockets and they don't ride up. Unfortunately, the vents have been removed on the 2.0. I bought these from my local running store, so I will keep them but will only wear if I have a hydration vest. Please revert back to the previous version.

Great shorts for the active mom

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a mom on the go that also prioritizes her fitness, these Brooks 7” running shorts have been great! They are lightweight and have a lining. They have pockets AND a drawstring! The waistband is very flattering. I like that they are comfortable enough for running but long enough to squat and bend over with a toddler. Gave them 4 stars because they do run a tad big. I’m 5’7” and 140lb. I am wearing the M. If you are between sizes, size down.

Practically Perfect, In *almost* Every Way

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new Brooks Chaser 2.0 shorts are nearly perfect. The fabric is lightweight, breathable, and very comfortable! I appreciate that the fabric doesn't make that annoying crinkling sound that some athleticwear will make when moving. The lining inside the shorts is cut like women's briefs and does not ride up or bunch as I jog or move around the house, and the 7 inch inseam is modest enough without sacrificing maneuverability or style. I have them in the color Bluebell, and it's very pretty. It's kind of a cross between periwinkle and cornflower blue. I am 5'7", 180 lbs, and the size large fits me well. If I could make a change to the shorts, I wish they were slightly a higher rise. The top of the waistband hits me right at my bellybutton. As a new mom with a soft belly, I wish the rise was just slightly higher. Other than that, I'd give them a 10/10 and look forward to getting them in more colors.

Comfy and flattering

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was skeptical of the 7” shorts thinking the extended length would feel restricting and look frumpy but these shorts proved me wrong. They are incredibly comfortable and flattering. The fabric is silky and breathable with a slight stretch. Honestly they are so lightweight it feels like you’re not wearing anything. The extended length actually allows me to work out and stretch more comfortably while still looking feminine and sleek. They stay put and I don't have to adjust them to remain covered which means I can focus on my form instead of worrying about my shorts riding up indecently high. The pockets on the shorts are also an added bonus, they are deep enough to hold my keys without them falling out. I was raving to my husband about how comfortable these shorts are and he responded that “this is just proof that brands matter”. I will definitely be sticking with Brooks clothing, it makes exercise even more enjoyable.

Super comfortable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first impression was that the shorts are super comfortable and fit me perfectly. I was excited to try these out on my treadmill. While on the treadmill, my only complaint is that the shorts do tend to ride up on the inner thigh. Other than that, I love the fabric, the fit and the design of these shorts. Maybe a longer inseam wouldn't cause the problem.

Disappointed in the update

I loved the last version of these shorts. Unfortunately, they've changed the cut to be more straight up and down, which hugs my hips and makes they ride up; they've placed the pockets further out to the side, which makes them stick out funny; and they've gotten rid of the rear vent. Sending them back, sadly, and looking for the old version online.
