[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shorts were true to size. They remind me of shorts from the early 2000s with an updated fit. They are mid to high rise. Length is not long nor too short. Flowy, but stay in place. I usually have issues with shorts riding up but these didn’t! I wore them for a workout, long run and just gym activities. They are super comfy! Fabric is light but still maintains its shape. I was mostly surprised by the fact I never had to adjust them from riding up. I’m 5-5 and 120lbs and the small is perfect I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.

If i could i would take half a start off for this. I still worked out in them a few times. I The shorts stayed in place and didn't ride up while running on the treadmill, which made me very happy! The liners didn't irritate and there wasn't any chafing from the shorts. Overall pleased with the performance and light weight feel of the fabric. I would recommend to friends. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shorts were promising, but as soon as I tried them on the first thing I noticed was how thin the fabric was. They are completely see through. They do come with a liner - but that just looks like your underwear is showing right through. They’re also a little short for my taste, and I’m not even tall (5’4’’). They arrived pretty wrinkled, so I washed them and let them hang dry, but they were still creased after washing. I’m not about to iron my running shorts.

I’ve worn them while playing tennis, and they never feel bulky or restrictive, which makes a huge difference during movement. I went for a handful of neighborhood runs and a brisk hike in around 55-60 degree weather with these over a few weeks this winter. Our weather is so strange here in the Midwest, and I’m glad we had some warm days to test these out! I’m not a huge fan of indoor workouts. The best feature of these shorts is its ability to not ride up on me. I do not know how they do it, maybe the fabric is rigid enough to stay in place. I love not getting the dreaded wedgie. The shorts have a very breathable liner. The waistband could be a little more forgiving and softer. Overall I appreciate most features of this short, so much airflow, dries quick and low frills! The cut of it is cute, not too long or short. These held up amazing in the wash as well. Machine washed and hung dry. They look brand new after 6 washes.

I got these shorts and was not disappointed. They fit me great, are super comfortable and really cute! They feel great on my weekly runs on the treadmill and I’m excited for warmer weather when I can wear them outside.

I like that there's "underwear" attached (which is also good because they are a bit see through). The length is nice, they don't ride up too much when I do squats etc. I love the color, but again, the light color makes them a bit see through.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] THE FIT The Dash short is fitted enough to be cute, but not too tight to be uncomfortable or distracting during squats, stretching, or some running. I was a bit leery while pulling them on, because the material felt a little tight/not too stretchy to get over my bum - but I was relieved to find that once they’re on and in place, the fit is fine! True to size, and the waistband is secure, flexible, and thick. I’m 5’4” and about 145lbs, with most of my weight in my booty/thighs. THE FUNCTION I wore this mainly working out at home (light weight lifting, calisthenics, yoga, etc.) in addition to walking, hiking, and cycling around Boise. The Dash shorts feel comfortable and stretch enough during activity, no chafing from the material but they do ride up a bit (and could chafe from revealed skin-to-skin contact). After a lot of squats be prepared to have a bit of a diaper-look - the material rides up at the thigh and stays there until you walk or pull them back down into place.. The liner feels fine, has the right fit and isn’t too small or big. The shorts feel less breathable than the shirt, but they seem to wick sweat well and dry quickly enough after a workout. The fabric holds up well to washing (washed them 5 or 6 times). The material is a bit thicker than I would typically wear, and usually opt for a thinner/stretchier short that I would have more uses for (workouts, running, hiking AND lounging around). These, I would not likely lounge around in or hike in - just not as comfortable for all-day use and I like a short with more pockets. For workouts, though, these are great. I would recommend these to someone who primarily runs or does gym workouts - no pockets to distract or get in the way. However, even if I did not receive it for free through this program, I would have bought them anyway, and I plan to buy another pair in a different color! I am a huge fan of Brooks shoes so I was more than excited to try out Brooks apparel. I am so impressed with these shorts for quite a few reasons. The fit on these shorts are excellent. As a woman with bigger hips and thicker thighs, running shorts that fit well without any restriction in movement or discomfort in the waistband. I'm not kidding when I say these shorts (size L in my case) could not have fit any better. I did not need to engage the waist tie at all, but there is one in case you need to make it tighter or looser. I didn't get a chance to use the key pocket either but I'm happy that there is one. They rode up just a bit when I was running but that is so normal for me so it didn't make me feel like it was unique to this style. And they are literally a breeze to put on and wear. They are extremely light and a little flowy, and the liner gives you some peace of mind. The color I received, I think it was Cosmo, is so beautiful. Fashion is not very important in your running gear, but man does it make it make it nice to look at when you're getting geared up for the day. I used these shorts on a trail run (a bit cold where I live so I am not running outside a ton right now), a few treadmill runs, and a some lifting sessions, and each of these workouts proved how great these shorts work in every activity (even lounging or running to the store after a workout). I will test them on the indoor bikes at the gym soon too, as I am an avid cyclist. And who doesn't love a pair of shorts that are easy to wash? Overall, I highly recommend these shorts and plan to purchase one, if not two more pairs. They will definitely be better for the warmer weather runs, but worked incredibly well for chilly weather indoor ones too. 10/10 recommend!
