Excellent product
I bought this basked with the idea of carrying a small dog for short rides. And it worked! I could not even believe it. But then it became the carrier for everything you can imagine, which is what it really is designed for. You can never go wrong with Brompton products. They are so well designed. Excellent!!!
Essential bag for the Brompton
I bought one of these with my Brompton. It makes the bike so much more practical. I can make a full 2-day Trader Joe's run with this bag. (Groceries go in Trader Joe's canvas bag, and canvas bag goes in this one.) It's ingenious, and typical of Brompton smart engineering, that the bag is attached to the frame, not the handlebars. Thus the bag does NOT sway around as you steer. Essential, and by Brompton standards, reasonably priced, especially for the value it brings to the bike. If my TJ's stuff is overflowing the top a bit, I just secure it with a 1-foot bungee cord. Works great.
Best Bag for Commuting!!
Perfect bag for my Brompton. Fits in a laptop water bottle books and looks good with the shoulder strap when I take off the bike. Has a way to secure it so things don’t jump out if riding over pot holes too.
It's ok but not good or great.
If you're in between the few Brompton basket options this one is ok. It's sturdy and fits securely on the bike, I've never had anything fall out riding around NYC. Where it fails is the shoulder strap is uncomfortable, it does not stand on its own, there are barely any attachment points for something like a stem bag and its just too expensive for what it is. I love grey also but this combination is not nice especially with your nicely colored bike, simple black would have been better.
Expensive But Worth It
I’ve seen numerous reviews about Brompton bags, saying they were too expensive and overpriced. After ordering my first Brompton bag, I noticed the quality and functionality of it. Expensive but worth it.
The basket looks like it will be worth the price.
This basket bag looks like it will last a long time, being that it is nice and sturdy. Looking forward to it lasting a long time as I am from CA and do have my bag and bike indoors.
