I use this when on the water or bank fishing, shields your skin from wind chap and sun damage

I bought this a couple years ago and have started using it more actively again as a two part face shield from another company seemed to be letting UV through (my face felt a little burnt after all day use) - to keep this one from sliding down I have to pull it up enough that the back is tucked into my hat. In hot humid coastal mexico summer weather it is completely soaked with sweat but it keeps the sun out better than sunscreen and doesn't come off of my face like sunscreen does. I wear it all day walking around towns and on my boat when in the sun.

I loved their hats, so I knew I'd love this gaiter. It's been perfect for covering my face during the COVID-19 health crisis. I can actually breathe while my face is covered! I keep it around my neck and simply pull it up when necessary while I am at the office. I've also worn it while gardening to protect my scalp from the sun, and it's a great headband while running. I will be purchasing a second to have on hand, and my husband - who works outdoors in construction - is enjoying his as well. Washes well, easy to wear, and a fantastic value!

I love pairing this with a sun hoodie and a sun hat to keep the sun fully away. I only have to put sunscreen on my nose when I’m dressed like this (and I burn easily). When you use it a lot without washing, which I did when I was working in a wilderness area all summer, it can start to look a little dirty, but it functions fully still. I’ve used this up in the mountains for fieldwork and on the water at home. It always keeps me from being sunburned and I don’t have to deal with sunscreen. It can be difficult to figure out how to wear it well so that it stays where you want it to, but once you figure that out you’ll never want to go without it. It’s also thin enough where it doesn’t make you overheat and you can breath through it if you want to cover your face (although you might need to pull it down a little when doing strenuous work)

Won't stay up. Adult women with medium sized head. Wore it with the thought that I wouldn't need to apply sunscreen, but it kept slipping down. Got a little burned. I was wearing my favorite Sunday Afternoons safari hat over it. I have several of those hats. 5 stars for the hats!

Comfortable enough for all day wear. My first time using a gaiter and my friends are telling me I am having too much fun! Face shield, sun shield, horse fly shield...this gaiter does it all easily. Quick and easy to clean, ready to go for every day if necessary.

The fabric is very slippery. If you want to be able to pull it up over your chin, or wear it over your head and forehead, this is not for you. If you're just planning on wearing around you neck it will be fine.

It’s a bit too loose to stay up over my mouth and nose- or at least I haven’t had it long enough to figure out how to work something out. It’s a great idea, but I think it should come in sizes.

Very cool wearing, feeling, looking. Double it up and it works great for this virus. Great cooling gaiter while hiking in the heat. Just a super product with truly a myriad of uses.
