Small, not very effective but light

Took this on a summer camping trip and also tested it as an option over a sleeping bag backpacking. It was too small for me at 6ft tall and too thin to use outside of summer. As it did a good job keeping itself clipped for the hands free feature, I just didn’t see it any better than a nice flash jacket or insulated vest to keep warm. Even when sitting down and even sleeping. Biggest win is the weight. I would have been more pleased getting one of RUMPL quilts and paid a little more. It was worth a shot

small size, fire resist only on one side.

I can only guess that they went with a small size because it’s meant to be a chair blanket by the fireside, but your shins are probably the warmest spot whereas everywhere else is the problem. This blanket is the perfect size at blocking your lower body from the fire while keeping your back cold. Oh you want to cover your back and side? Too bad, you should’ve been a smaller person, better luck next life. It’s like the survivorship bias in aircraft design, they reinforced the part least needing reinforcements. Fire resistant only on 1 side, the blanket wraps around a person, some part will be facing the fire, some parts not. The whole point is to not accidentally burn it. People are purchasing the peace of mind. Give me the original sizes, superb insulation, and fire resistance on all sides. I also happen to like the texture of the FR fabric. It’s not a rocket science. You’re basically making civilian versions of poncho liners, it’s not hard.

Tiny

Super disappointed. This has potential to be a great campfire blanket, but it is way too small. It would be nice if Rumple offered a larger version. This one is going back.

Smaller than it should be

I’ve been wanting a travel blanket for when I sleep in airports. Nobody else seems to be marketing a travel blanket for people who actually travel. This company shows everyone around the camp fire and that’s nice but why doesn’t anyone make a lightweight/warm/high quality travel blanket that is big enough to cover yourself? This blanket is short and if you are over 5’4 it’s useless for sleeping. The packed size is nice and that’s what caught my eye. I should have read the sizing before purchasing. I just didn’t expect a company to make something like this. It’s odd.

A little too small.

I guess it’s not called NANOLOFT for nothing. I’m 5’10” and this blanket is just too small. The dimensions are 52” x 38” and that was my fault for not looking at the dimensions before purchasing from the store. If you’re over 5’ then this blanket is gonna start giving you issues during sleep. Better suited for a smaller person. It does a great job of keeping warm. It’s super light and packable. Fire resistant. The clip to turn it into a cape is a great feature. I love everything about it except for the size.

Compact, warm, and easy!

I absolutely love this blanket. Great for those long days of Hammocking, and I always keep it in my day hike bag. Small, WARM, and so compactable it's sweet. Keeps me SIGNIFICANTLY warmer than the 100$ bill I traded for it.

Perfect Lap Blanket!!

I love this blanket for around the fire at home!! Keeps me cozy especially as the fire dwindles. Like others have said, it is their smaller size, but it's all I need when sitting down! I love my other Rumpl Blankets better for camping, but I'll be keeping this in the car for outings at friend's houses and even to use as a packable picnic blanket.

Decent

I have the nanoloft in other non travel sizes. While I like this and was excited for the fire resistency they changed the location of the cape clip. Previously it was on the long side so the blanket was wide and wrapped around your shoulders comfortably. They moved it to the short side so you have a long skinny cape behind you. I wish they could make it customizable providing 2 locations for clips with an interchangeable clip adapter for increased versatility depending on the situation. Otherwise this is great.

Best blanket

This travel blanket is an absolute game-changer! It rolls up flawlessly, allowing you to easily attach it to your carry-on alongside your travel pillow. Perfectly sized for both planes and cars, it wraps you in cozy warmth wherever your adventures take you! But that’s not all—this blanket stays impressively clean! It resists odors, and dirt doesn't cling to it. We love it so much that we’ve stocked up on three of them! Don’t miss out on this must-have travel essential!
