Meh.
I like how lightweight this is and how easy it is to fit inside the stuff sack. That being said, I brought this on a recent trip instead of a sleeping bag. It only got down to the mid 50s but I did not feel this was sufficient, even with pants and a hoodie on as well. Also, I am 6'1 and could not cover my toes and my shoulders while laying flat. This may be okay if you know it is going to be very warm while you are camping, but otherwise I am not sure.
Wow.. don’t know what else to say.
This is just the best. I bought the 2 person size to use as a light weight sleeping bag alternative. It’s lighter than most of them and has more room. I do wish it had a “middle/third” clip for a little better closure folded over for this use, but otherwise it’s perfect. Perhaps it’s already perfect for most and I’m just picking. I have a bunch of rumpl products. Pillow, 2 original puffy’s and a 2 person down one too. I hope they make more down blankets, that one is my favorite, but this is a ton better than the original nano-loft ones. Like way better! If you’re on the fence about it, you won’t be disappointed.
Great packable, warm blanket.
Fairly light, packs down small and provides enough coverage for 2. My wife and I found this to be plenty warm as a top blanket over a medium weight fleece blanket in our rooftop tent. I was peeling clothing layers the first night using it. Materials and stitching seems top notch. My only complaint is that it’s a little on the pricy side.
Backcountry Puffy Blanket
I was honestly worried the 2 person size I got would not be big enough to cover me my gf and toddler under our queen sized sleeping pad but it does and with extra space on the sides for us too. Plus the blanket seems to be made really well no strings hanging off or anything like that and warm of course obviously the best part about it is how small it packs down into its sack!!
Perfect Blanket!
We use this blanket for our truck camper ! This blanket is a perfect fit ! Dog hair doesn’t cling to this blanket! It is light weight but it is nice and warm! Great addition to our camper !
A bit disappointed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not as fluffy as I expected. In fact, it feels as if there’s no batting at all in certain areas of the blanket. Thus it’s not as warm as expected either. I use it inside on my couch on cool nights and it really doesn’t keep me warm. I definitely don’t think this would keep me worn in an outdoor camping situation. I appreciate the design and that the the main concept is portability and being able to fit in a very small package, but if it doesn’t keep you warm, what’s the point?
Warm but fabric is too slick and slides off.
Plenty warm but the fabric is so slick it falls off of you constantly. It's light and warm, but won't stay on through the night. Maybe if they put some rubber tabs on it or something, but it was super annoying trying to sleep through the night as it just keeps falling to one side and sliding off.
Great alternative to a sleeping bag
I bought this for my husband since he travels to remote locations in Alaska for work. He loves how compact it can get (stuffs it in his back pack) and it isn’t constricting like a sleeping bag. It also keeps him comfortably warm at night (used indoors)
Warm blanket
I picked this blanket up on clearance. Great warmth and quality.
Perfect for chilly spring camping
I took this on my first backpacking trip of the season. Honestly I got it for the dog, but wow did I benefit from using it for a cape in the evening and early morning. Packs small enough that the dog carried it in his pack. If I got a different stuff sack, I probably could get it smaller, but it's light and warm.
