Favorite hiking boots.

I was hesitant to purchase these because of the price but they’re the best boots I’ve ever found. I have many pairs of hiking boots and these are my absolute favorite. The fit is true to size but I purchase my boots 1/2 size up from my regular size to wear thicker hiking socks. I’d recommend these boots for anyone.

Good traditional design for narrow heel fit

After evaluating 5 pairs of hiking boots, I chose these. Best of Addidas, Salomon, Ortho Feet and Dansko that I tried. I need a wide toe box and narrow heel. Heel, mid foot and ankle support great. Toe Box could be a bit bigger/wider, but they worked out well on my "tester" 3 mile hike. They are also a bit heavy. Good for people who want a traditional hiking boot design and materials.

Asolo is my favorite brand of hiking boots. I've always bought a boots that is higher than these so was a little concerned whether this would be sufficient for me. However, they are great! I'll use these for the milder weather and they'll be fine, and lighter.

Lightweight with excellent support

Had to put my old Asolo boots to rest after many, many years, and decided to replace with the same brand. So happy I did! These new boots are so light, yet sturdy, and the ankle support is soooo comfortable. I love that Asolos run a bit narrow, which give me a great secure fit. Looking forward to many years of hiking!

I really wanted to like these because they were super comfortable right out of the box. Unfortunately the toe box was way to narrow for my feet (I don't wear wide shoes normally, but I don't want hiking boots that are going to squeeze my toes). They make wide sizes in mens, WHY NOT WIDE SIZES IN WOMENS?? I would happily order the mens, but my feet are too small.
