I went through many different shoes looking for a lightweight gore Tex boot to take on a trip. These fit the bill and my feet to a tee. The toe bed is wide enough to accommodate a slightly wide foot and high arch, even with an additional insert. I think the high top will be great for additional stability & to keep any rain out. On top of being functional, I also think they are cute which isn’t that common for a hiking shoe- but will be great for both hikes & cobblestones in town.
I absolutely love these hiking boots. This is my first non leather high hiking boot and it has been amazing. I used to have to put some KT blister prevention tape in spots on my feet. I hiked for miles in these (ex Milford Track) for days and never had a problem. They are so lightweight it's like wearing a running shoe. Completely waterproof. I will say I added inserts which were 100% required otherwise you could feel everything and my feet bottoms would hurt. You know you love them when you see them on sale and you think should I buy a backup?
Nice quality and design, but it’s a little tight thru the toe box.
