Horrid - you risk a jaw injury!
While these may taste good, they are nearly inedible. Even under hot conditions they are rock hard. I have to use the full force of my molars to get a bite and even then I'm struggling to get a piece. Under cold conditions you need a sledgehammer. All flavors are the same.
Lots of calories per ounce, tastes good!
I normally carry Probar and Wilderness Athlete Packout Bars for energy but decided to try this for a training hike. Excellent calories per ounce and it tastes good, recommended.
Too tough for me
Snack time went rough. Was mildly tasty, too tough to truly enjoy. Was testing for a hike, but once tired and wanting something tasty and easy, this would not be it, for me

Love these! They can be hard to find locally, but I buy them when I find them!
