Very Disappointed, Would not recommend.
My parents asked me what I wanted for Christmas. Currently deployed to South Korea. My unit didnt issued me any cold weather gloves so I decided on these and my parents bought them and mailed them too me. I was hoping they would make my hands warm well stagnate. But my figers freeze in them unless im very actively moving like a fast ruck march. But just sweeping the motor pool or a patrol, my fingers freeze. I even added another wool liner and they still freeze. Says there rated for -5° to 25° but even in 10° weather my fingers are extremely cold. Unless im very actively doing something. Overall very disappointed with these gloves was hoping my hands would be toasty just standing. Because being in the Infantry you find yourself sitting outside in the cold doing nothing alot. So for a military use they are not a good decision. On the design of the gloves one thing that is annoying is the strings that synch down the cuffs. Hang off too much and get caught of stuff well moving through brush. I do like the wrist strings for you can wear. So when you take off your gloves you dont have to worry about loosing them. Overall very disappointed wish I would have gone with a different pair. This is my first time choosing outdoor research and I dont know if I will again. Would not recommend this for anyone in the Military. Would ask for a refund but since my parents bought them for me and it took a soild month for them to get here, I dont want to deal with the hassle. Plus I need them for upcoming field events.
Solid choice
All-around winter glove for use in Alaska - primarily winter fatbiking. Have also used for snowblowing, other outdoor activities. Have used them in single-digit weather, but not below zero (yet). I've found them to be very warm, depending on level of activity. For more passive activities like riding a 4-wheeler, I didn't find them to be impressively warm, but for active use - biking for example, they're great. The inner gloves are useful, though the touchscreen capability seems hit or miss which can be frustrating. The gloves are very warm without the liner. I didn't read closely enough that the palms and backs are leather which doesn't thrill me, but thus far (several bike trips) it hasn't been a negative.
Flimsy
I owned these gloves for a little over two weeks and the finger tips ripped and came apart. The material is not reinforced and cannot handle even light work. Customer service offered to send me tape...
Not stoked
These glove with the liners end up being very thick between my fingers. I can't actually wear them for long with the liners because my knuckles get sore from my fingers being separate. This also makes them rather tight which keeps my hands more on the cold and useless side. They work great when the liners and shells are separate! I use the shell alone for warmer and wet days they do a great job keep the hands dry even when it is soaking wet outside. The liners on their own are also good. They are thick enough to be warm, but obviously don't have the water resistance. I got these gloves for really cold weather though so they don't meet their intended purpose. But otherwise, OR gloves are my favorite. My go-to glove makers.

Winter Gloves - Warm Comfy
Having experienced -15o Celsius, for a few week this winter, I needed some good quality outdoor adventure winter gloves, I did cheat, I looked at several brands and settled with OUTDOOR RESEARCH, they did all the testing and I did all the reading, from their range of gloves, so I took the plunge, purchased these gloves and WOW they delivered, I'm finally done with defrosting my fingers and actually enjoying Winter, seriously these gloves fit very well and warm with comfort. I've give these gloves 10/10 for all my warm and comfort, using ski sticks also driving an open 4x4 UTV at night temperature was -15o Celsius. Great experience and I like to purchase "once" for a quality product, I believe has over delivered in quality.

Great gloves!
Im a Heavy equipment technician at the south pole station in Antartica, These gloves are my savior. My fingers do still get cold at times, but its also usually around -40 to -70 degrees fahrenheit, and I'm usually holding tools as well. These probably aren't as warm as a pair of mittens, but if you need to work with your fingers these are perfect. very durable gloves that get used hard working on bulldozers and snow-cats. I would highly recommend them for colder weather.
Above and beyond
Gloves were wind and waterproof during 48 hours of digging trench in rain snow hail & mud + week of use in the field. Only reason I could not use these gloves at the end of the 48 hour period was because it was so caked in mud that I could not grab the shovel and pickaxe. After being dried out it was good to go. It has exceeded my expectation and will be my go-to gloves for any kind of cold wet weather.
Worked perfectly
Purchased for a winter field ex, they were exactly what I needed. Night time temperatures got as low as -44c with daytime in the -20-30c range and my hands only got cold a few times. The inner glove were good too for dexterity work but ended up melting a few holes in an instant when I was trying to fix a Coleman stove whi h was my fault. Overall I'm happy with them.
A bit bulky and thick, but super tough and warm
Thought I'd replace my backcountry ski gloves with these and ordered them online, sight unseen. I've found them to be burly and tough especially with the liners in them. Personally I took the liner out. I doubt I will ever need them in the PNW. Without the liner they are a solid and very warm glove. Super protective and warm! Probably too much for my climate.
Solid Glove
Sure...you can probably get a better glove, but for the price, these are great. Just the right loft and warmth while not sacrificing dexterity. These are my new go-to gloves for skiing, winter hikes, and general sub-zero days. No issues with chilling or condensation, these rode the line perfectly for me between comfort and function.
