Bulky, Not warm enough, atypical fit

Every pair of OR gloves I've ever worn are a size SMALL, the first pair of these I got in SMALL fit much too big, but the thumbs were very snug, so I sized down to X-Small only to find the palm fit well, but the thumbs were now too long??? These are nowhere near warm enough to justify their bulky, cumbersome fit, and as another review pointed out, my pinky and ring fingers are already cold in 0-10F temps. I may need to return these as they do not perform as well as several other OR gloves rated for lower warmth and with less bulk to them.

I bought these gloves mostly for winter hunting and ice fishing in Fairbanks AK, as well as commuting and work. They appear durable and well-made, and they are quite comfortable. I was expecting them to be a bit warmer given their bulk, but they get chilly pretty fast in anything below zero. If you live in a cold climate and don't need a lot of dexterity, I would recommend sizing up and getting some decent liners. For casual snow activities, they'd be great out of the box. The waterproofing seems solid as well.

Cold pinkies!

Look (and smell) great, quality of the construction seems very good. I found these under the 'warmest' category filter, though, and they are not. I wore them yesterday at -10C and my pinkies were noticeably cold after just a few minutes outside. Probably good if you're working (shoveling etc.) but otherwise these wouldn't be my choice for a cold day outside. They fit quite loosely around the fingers so you could probably fit a liner, but I don't want to have to wear a liner every time.

Great glove for a large hand

Was toasty warm for a short glove. I have a XXL had and usually blow out gloves between thumb and pointer. These seemed large enough where it will not be an issue

excellent all around outdoor work glove

especially good at keeping hands warm when the temps are below freezing. Short wrist gaiter allows bulky work jackets to cover the gloves.

Warm and Bulky

Easy to put on and warm, but a bit too bulky to be able to have any dexterity.
