The Power Gym Dress is great!
The dress is comfortable and fits really well. It was initially a little tricky to put on and take off but I’ve got that down now and it’s great! It has built in short tights underneath but I wore my own long tights and it was still comfy!! Wore it to the shops ha ha !
Great to run in
I’m 5.8” size 8 on top, size 10 bottom half. Ordered a small….fits perfectly. I think the model in the photographs must be really tall as the dress is much longer on me. For me personally I don’t mind pulling the dress up over my body to get it on (kind of like a swimming costume). I bought the dress last year and have been running regularly in it. Feels great, no rubbing, washes well. There is slight padding on the bust, the top is nice and fitted, the bottom half flares out a bit but I guess you need that in order to move in it freely. Someone in an earlier review wondered if it was appropriate for someone a bit older. I’m in my 40s and it is absolutely appropriate for any age :)
So versatile for activewear and pleasure
I bought this dress as I wanted a summer dress I could wear on my bike but that didn't look too sporty. This is perfect as it has build in shorts so no more flashing my knickers! I was concerned about the racer back as this is a style I would usually avoid as it makes me look broad but I was surprisingly happy it didn't. I really love the clean appearance and stretchy fabric for movement. The bra cups are removable which is great and it also has build in pocket which is great if I don't want to take a bag out on my bike. My only criticism would be the front neck seam and around the arm holes were rolling over so the lining was visible and seam was not flush. #teamsweatybetty
Fantastic Dress with all the details!
This dress is à keeper! Im 36C, and it has great built in support for bigger breasts. The leggings underneath are great for workouts, and the built in pocket.for the phone is à Nice touch! The details and quality justifiés the cost! Money well spent.
Fit is off
I really wanted to like this dress and probably could have kept it as it was ok, but ok is not good enough for the cost. I am 5’5” and just under 9 stone (125lb) and ordered my usual small. Lots of suggestions to size up due to the straps and getting it on over the shoulders but I had no issue there. However it was a bit long and would have looked nicer even an inch or two shorter. The dress was comfy and shorts fit perfectly, but the top has a built in bra and this presumed you had a certain size chest. On me it just wasn’t flattering and seemed bulky. I’m a C cup. An XS might have been worth a try but sold out so will sadly just have to return.
The frumpiest thing I’ve ever tried on.
Man this is bad. I felt compelled to write a review because I just received an email advertising this product, I didn’t want other people to suffer the same disappointment that I did. Firstly, the fabric is way too heavy. For this style and cut, you need a lighter fabric. The sizing are way out! I am five foot eight and reasonably slim, but not tiny - I reckon there is enough fabric in this dress to fit me twice over. The overall effect is ‘matronly’, definitely not the cute little tennis dress I had imagined. It is very 1950’s - could be useful for a wooden racquet tournament as fancy dress, but not many other practical applications I’m afraid.
Versatile little black dress - casual and sports
I wore this dress for running around trails, a bit of hill repeats and also for going out for lunch with the family. I wear a Medium as Small won’t go past my hips! I am 168cm and generally wear a 12/14 because of my hips. Wore it with a sports bra for better support (small chest) and took off the bra inserts. It holds me in all the right places but it is tricky to get into ( think swimwear). Please bring out other colours (red, navy blue, maroon, deep purple, forest green) will be nice. Very pleased with the purchase. Versatile dress for casual walks and feel sexy. Oh, maybe a side zip will be good to make it easy to get in and out!
Needs pockets on both sides
I had been looking for a dress for tennis for a while and though this would be perfect, especially with it having a pocket in the dress (which is big enough to fit two tennis balls). However, the pocket on the dress is on the right hand side. As a right handed player this is not practical as I have to stretch across with my left hand to get balls, or put my racket down every time. SB please make this dress with pockets on both sides so it works for everyone. Also I suggest for anyone buying this you size up as it does require some contortion to get in! Dress itself is great though, very flattering and good length. I’m 5’6 and normally size 10 / S and I bought a medium.
Great workout dress
Love this dress! Very slenderizing on and gives me a little more coverage for my legs because it is a little longer in length than other workout dresses but without looking matronly. For reference I am 5 ft 2 and a half and weigh 125 and the small worked great. There is a pocket too but it doesn't add bulk to your hips. This is also a versatile dress I can wear a cute pair of sandals and a cardigan with it for a dressy look.
The BEST workout/daily wear dress!
This dress has it all: built in bike shorts, shelf bra with area for removable pads, outside pocket, and slimming seams. It's a little tough to get in and out of, which is to be expected. I love the length of this dress as well. It's maybe an inch longer than some of the other workout dresses around, and it's perfect for being stylish, without standing out. I've only worn it around the house, but the shorts haven't ridden up so far. The material is some sort of lightweight synthetic, I could see myself wearing this for SUP, kayaking, boating, or other water activities where I need to be covered but might get wet. PLEASE make more colors!! A mustard yellow would be so great!
