Have 2

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love merino wool products. I had this in a M and used throughout my European travels. Dressed up for nice dinners and casual for general day wear. Very comfortable. As I'm over 60, 5'4", 154#, and short waisted, if they made petite clothes it would be perfect, but the lower waist hits closer to my hips. I also bought a L it's loose all the way, but the armholes are a little big, but it's comfy and really good for layering over. I may cut one of them and convert it into a skirt.(I'd love to see icebreaker offer a knee length and a longer skirt in this fabric). Sizer recommendation was for the L. I do prefer the Granary Tee Shirt dress over this one, but wold like pockets.

Love the cap sleeves, great travel dress

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was great for travel and will be ideal for work. I went a size up given the nearly all-year hot and humid weather in Austin. My only wish is that it had two deep pockets at the front sides attached on top of the dress (the kind you see on some pants), so that the dress keeps the same flattering shape, as then I could drop my phone in the pocket. Please also make this in lighter colors, ideally bright cheerful colors that are not gray / dirty looking. Please also make tops with this exact sleeve length, as it is still professional and modest looking but very flattering without trying to look sexy.

Surprised how much I love it!

Found this on sale for in Gritstone Heather which is a lovely deep charcoal. Normally not a color I'd select, being blonde, but it's a perfect neutral for me. Who knew?! I am much bustier (36DD) than the models shown, so it actually draped wonderfully and skimmed over my body without being too clingy. I'm normally a size ten. Medium was perfect! Length was just above the knee. I actually like the higher crew neck as I can dress up with some fun jewelry and not worry about the neckline. The armholes are large enough without being too gappy or too snug. The fabric is soft and yet substantial enough to not look shapeless. I plan to use this for travel and it will be great paired with a sweater/jacket and scarves to vary my look. So happy I gave this a try!

I would love the hoodie with pockets version

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am giving two stars because the merino fabric is wonderful. But the design is horrible. Will never be able to wear this out in public! I bought it because I am a huge fan of this dress but a different style, with the hoodie and the pockets! Also I am very active and prefer my skirt hem slightly flared, more feminine. This thing hangs like a sack. Not flattering. I love Icebreaker Merino. But the style I am looking for is not available. I think it dates back to at least 2018. That was perfect! Please sell that again!

A good value on sale; classic fit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Neck's a little high on this item, hitting right at my throat, causing some minor discomfort if I'm aware of it. After first wash, it's a little nappier than it was when I first opened it, but it still looks great--just not as "dressy." Still an everyday wear for me, for office, for dinner, for lounging. Hits right above the knee on me. Wore it for five days straight in stupid-hot SoCal heat--no odor whatsoever. I've only washed it once in the 2.5 weeks I've had it and worn it, and it's totally fine. (I hand-washed in woolite in my sink.) Blazer or cardigan dresses it up for office; a scarf does it for dinner; pointy-toed flats, sneakers, and sandals all work. Pretty happy with this one, but previous icebreaker dresses have acquired holes pretty fast, so I'm hoping this one doesn't.

Year-round

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am unexpectedly delighted by this dress. I expected it to be a nice casual summer vacation garment, but because of its length and relaxed-but-not-baggy fit, I can see I'll also be wearing it layered for autumn, winter and spring too. Nice fine merino drapes beautifully and is really a blank slate for whatever type of occasion or outfit I need. Perfect for traveling, dries overnight and doesn't need ironing. I'd love to see it in more colors.

Looks classy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Looks very classy and is comfortable for most parts. The neck opening is pretty tight and feels choking a bit, but hopefully I'll get used to it as I love the way the dress looks and feels. Not a fan of the Superwash process that most wool uses nowadays, which soaks it in chlorine and covers in plastic. But it's the price we have to pay for the wool to be silky smooth and washable.

Versatile dress

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You can wear this as is, wear something underneath it, or wear something over it. It has a nice heft and doesn't pill (at least after a few wears and a couple of washings). The neckline is a bit high (as shown in the picture) so anything on the face needs to come off before putting it on (save applying mineral sunblock until after the dress is on). Really happy with this purchase.

Good quality, comfortable dress

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the dress overall for daily wear but wish it has more shape. If the dress has more swing shape rather than just up and down straight, that would be great. I like the neck line which is not tight for me along with the cap sleeve making it elegant. I would like to see it in different color rather than black and grayish blue. The material is comfortable.

A little long but still flattering

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Solid construction, flattering even though a little long (I'm 5'4, 130lbs and small is almost to mid calf). Aside from that, it hangs nicely and I'm looking forward to using it as a travel dress this summer. I originally bought a medium and was swimming in it. Small is still large but not overly so. 100% merino - can't beat it!
